I’m not sure how two adult meals and a kids meal cost $83 dollars.. no receipt provided. We did not order anything extravagant, service and food were alright… nothing special.

I wanted something Louisiana for lunch, and their menu looked like what I had in mind, so I stopped in for lunch. The place is immaculate with a golf course for the view! Georgia was the sweetest server I could have hoped for, very patient and helpful with deciding my perfect lunch of blackened redfish with crabmeat sauce, asparagus and dirty rice. It was all cooked to perfection and delicious! The bartender Jacie was equally impressive, making the most delicious bloody Mary with all the trimmings, and an amazing Moscow Mule! I'm a bartender by profession, so when I call out mixology skill, it's someone who's truly over and above expectation. I can't wait to return, and recommend The Max as an outstanding experience, start to finish.

My wife and a stopped in at The Max for dinner. I ordered the All District Burger, and she had the shrimp poboy. The waitress, Aubrianna was very nice and helpful. Our food came quickly, and it was as we ordered. I was ready to take a bite of what I was sure was to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It is, after all, a 3 meat blend. It was every bit of underwhelming. It was juicy, but that was about it. Nothing remarkable. My wife did enjoy her poboy, and she really liked the way the bread was toasted. As for the atmosphere, it was nice and clean, but to me, there wasn't much atmosphere to speak of. I think we'll go back at least once more to see if we just missed something.

Great restaurant on the golf course. Rich history of Westlake, LA in the decor. The Max is a staple for this community and it’s visitors. Good food, great views, cold beer, 18 holes and the people of Westlake, LA. You might not leave!

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly! The people of this area are very community oriented and inclusive.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator access.

Love this place! Haven’t met a bad staff member. Management is always willing to talk to you if you have a problem (personally haven’t had any myself). Amazing food! It’s a little bit on the expensive side, but it’s not absolutely through the roof expensive. I mean, everywhere is expensive nowadays sadly. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: The Max had a split in the building that separates it from the bar side of the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: The Max has an elevator to get to the restaurant.

The girls and I came here for Sunday funday brunch and will be returning! We were greeted with great customer at the check in spot and were seated fast. We got the $13 bottomless mimosa (highly recommend) and the skillet, blacked catfish, and the fruity pebble French toast. The only downside is I wish the skillet came with a little more eggs other than that we can’t wait to return!

Went to bingo a few weeks in a row and the service was not great. Tickets were rang in wrong and we were not being paid attention to like we should have. Our reservation this past Wednesday was given away and we ended up having to be seated in the wrong area and the uncomfortable patio chairs. That makes no sense to me on how a reservation gets stolen but I digress.

The past 2 times me and my group have gone we all experienced stomach pains and sickness. I don’t know if it was the alcohol or the food but something wasn’t right. Again, it wasn’t just me who got sick it was everyone in the party (6-8 people) we love going. This is not a bash to the restaurant by any means. It’s a great vibe and a lot of laughs but I think it should be brought to someone’s attention that we all have gotten sick the past 2 times.

Food and service were both great, the high ceilings made it a little loud but not unbearable. I wish it was more clear where the entrance was, a sign on the door or the staircase leading up would really help.

Place is great. Our service was a little subpar because the little waitress was so quiet and low spoken.

Very pleasant restaurant in the golf club. The food was hot and tasty. The food was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beer was good. There was live music giving the place a good atmosphere. The light and airy room with great views made it a great place to have a meal.
