Scrumptious. Absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the atmosphere specifically of this restaurant it’s so cute. I love the house that it’s in it’s a beautiful white homestead with a relaxing porch and rocking chairs and a wonderful patio that outlooks the water.

I saw many large parties come in and it seems like a go to spot for locals, but it was also great for a solo meal. I adored the crab dip appetizer. I tried shrimp po boy for the first time here and ate jambalaya as well!

My server was very kind I sadly didn’t catch her name but she was lighter brown/dirty blonde hair and very polite and attentive. She must’ve saw me falling asleep at my table because she brought me two cups of coffee LOL.

This is a great place to go if you want a quiet peaceful lunch or dinner atmosphere. Or a good spot to go to to grab a drink or quick appetizer before one of the swamp tours!

If you are visiting Louisiana, make this a spot to visit and dine. Great place to eat after you’ve done a boat tour. My best friend and I were immediate greeted when we walked through the door and sat by Amy the manager. She introduced herself and went over the menu. We started out with the Crab Dip, omggg it was super delicious. I ordered the Sausage Gumbo but Amy had a little surprise for me and brought out a side of potato salad to go with it. It was perfection. My friend had Crab Cakes, it was amazing. At the end, sweet Amy served us some delicious Bread Pudding and a slice of “King Cake”. Amy was incredible and the food was made to perfection.

Ambience is reminiscent of an old southern home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the service is good and the food is outstanding. We have eaten here several times and even brought out of town guest to get a taste of down home seafood. The porch area is inviting, the view of the dock and the fishing fleet causes one to linger. Highly recommend and definitely will go back.

This is a unique little restaurant with lots of local favorite food. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the back porch and have a great view, maybe even some alligator friends popping your head out of the water. It’s off the beaten path so it’s easy to pass up, but it’s a must both for locals and tourists to like. Authentic flavors and great staff.

We brought the in-laws for dinner on 12/13 around 6:30pm. After a short wait we were seated. There were some large parties ahead of us so the kitchen was a little backed up. We ordered the smoked wings which were really good! The food wait wasn’t an issue but the manager Amy came by our table and apologized and we had a great conversation. She gave the kids stuffed alligators which lit up their eyes!!! Everything ordered from the seafood platter, the eggplant special, Mardi Gras catfish, chicken/tasso pasta, and fried shrimp were cooked perfectly and were delicious!! Since it was our first time, Amy brought us chocolate pie and bread pudding and not going to lie, the bread pudding was next level. I would come back just for that and Amy’s hospitality!!

All around phenomenonal experience! As soon as I walked in, felt like a family Sunday dinner experience. The manager Amy ant servers made me feel at home and took good care of me! Had a cup of gumbo and the seafood platter! Everything was deliscious and the service was the best I've had in quite some time! Will definitely return EVERY time I'm in Westwego! Looking forward to coming back!!!

I cannot stress enough how much we absolutely loved it here. After a rough start to our vacation, finding this spot for dinner was a saving grace. The Crab Dip is out of this world and brought out my emotions, let me tell you. I had the Crab Cakes for my meal and they were *delicious*. My fiance had the Catfish Mardi Gras, and he loved it! Our waitress was super kind and came back to check on us and get us a refill. I even got alligator earrings on our way out! Thank you to the group that was working on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025. You made our day so much better with your hospitality and food.
