What a lovely small, family operated, seafood dining. We’ve got fishermen’s platter, flounder lafitte (special), fish platter. Fish was fresh and delicios, with thin and crunchy breadcrumbs. Flounder tastes amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Jambalaya sides were rich, with solid chunks of sausage.

Food was great! Atmosphere was nice and cozy, very home-y vibes. Service was nice and speedy. Definitely recommend the gumbo, I had the chicken gumbo which was delicious. Also had a seafood platter which was solid, and boyfriend had the hamburger steak which he really liked. Overall a great experience and has definitely improved since Kitchen Nightmares! Will be back again!

I will NEVER patronize any business in which the manager calls an employee “retard” where customers can hear. It’s a shame too. This would’ve been a must stop every time we came to the West Bank.

Food is always delicious and portions are more than enough. Leftovers to take home and enjoy the next day. If you are hungry it’s the place to go. Being family operated makes it 100’s time better than chain restaurants. The dishes served are fine dining without having to dress up, and you can bring the whole family. The only problem I have is choosing between my favorite dishes.

What a great place to eat. The trout almandine is so good. The jambalaya is amazing. Portions are great for the price and filling. The service was great it's like eating with family. Can't wait to see them back in Lafitte.

I didn’t order, but instead, tasted all of my family’s foods. This was the best New Orleans Style BBQ shrimp and blackened fish I’ve ever eaten, even as someone from Louisiana. The French bread with the BBQ Shrimp was amazing. Jambalaya was also excellent. The selection of foods was almost too much good to choose- we’ll have to come back to try more. The prices are reasonable and well worth it. If you’re looking for fast or fancy, this isn’t it. But if you want excellent, authentic Cajun food with a local and very casual atmosphere, GO! I would come back again and again.

It wasn't terrible. App cost the same as the entree we split. Both were very basic and bland. We waited 30 min for the app another 15 for the meal. Didn't get our salad till the end when we had to ask for it. A little pricey for a so-so experience.

Was invited here to participate in filming for a forthcoming episode of "Kitchen Nightmares." Drove 150 miles from Mississippi and then waited 3 hours only to be told that they were shutting the kitchen down and no one else would be served! Thanks Gordon and Fox Network, for wasting my whole Saturday and $50 in gas! Would not eat here now if it was the last place on Earth!
