The whole wing plate with fried rice and salad was good. The fried rice had shrimp. The salad was a house salad with tomato's and red onions, nothing fancy but filling enough to go with the chicken wings. Wings were decently sized, not sure about other reviews on "tiny wings." I was able to make 2 meals out of my plate.
Don't be fooled when you walk into this establishment...I was less than impressed, initially. I saw a lady waiting in the corner by the door and asked her specifically... had she ever eaten here before??? The guy behind the counter and she chimed in at the same time that she, she was a regular.... ? Hmmm. I asked her for a recommendation and she told about the glazed spicy garlic wings. The owner?? He had black framed glasses, was very personable. He explained what the menu...
A hidden gem on the Westbank indeed!! If you’re a fan of Golden Wings and Manchus, ask for the “party wings” or whole wings “cut in half”. You can also get crab rangoon. Thank me later!
