Place is a total rip off. Most of the games we played didn’t even give us the amount of tickets that was listed on the machine. If you hit a “jackpot” the machine acted like you didn’t even play a turn yet. And most machines took your tokens but the screen was frozen so you couldn’t even play.
I’m a regular customer at this location and have always enjoyed bringing my family here, which is why this experience was so disappointing. This review is specifically about the Super Bowl promotion on Sunday, 2/8/26, which was advertised clearly and prominently in-store as “Unlimited Wings & Games” for $24.99 as part of a ticketed event in which I purchased 4 of them. I attended with my three daughters for what should have been an easy, fun family night. Unfortunately, the event was poorly planned, poorly executed, and poorly managed. These issues were not caused by the servers — they were clearly doing their best — but by management and operational failures. Key issues: • Drinks took 25 minutes to arrive. • Wings were repeatedly delayed & cold. • Fries ordered for my youngest arrived over an hour later. • No clarity was provided on what was included vs. upcharged (though cost was never the issue). The most significant problem: The “unlimited games” did not work on the game cards we paid for. It took approximately 25 minutes to troubleshoot. During that time, my daughters — who live two hours away and had school the next morning — just wanted to play. As a parent, I was forced to either cut their night short or spend more money to compensate for a promotion that wasn’t functioning. I chose to spend hundreds of dollars more so my kids could enjoy the night — despite already paying for what was advertised as unlimited gameplay. Management Interaction After my girlfriend left a review expressing frustration, a manager approached us directly to ask about it. Since the conversation was initiated by management, I calmly explained the experience. During that interaction, I was told that I “was not at a table with kids,” which was incorrect. There were only two tables with children present during the event, and ours was one of them. I also have personal photo evidence from that time showing my youngest daughter seated at our table. Dave & Buster’s has audio and video surveillance, which can easily verify: • Where the two tables with children were located • Who was seated there • And that my child was present during the event Being given information that was factually incorrect instead of a straightforward acknowledgment of operational issues was the most frustrating part of the night. A refund was offered, but this was never about the money. It was about: • A misleading promotion • Lack of preparation for a major event • Poor communication • And management not taking accountability when things went wrong Bottom line: Dave & Buster’s is a great concept and normally a fun, family-friendly place. But this promotion felt like a money trap for families, and one poorly managed event can undo years of goodwill. The staff deserves better leadership, and customers deserve honest execution of what’s advertised. I hope this feedback reaches the right people, because situations like this are entirely preventable with better planning, transparency, and accountability. Sincerely, Tyler Polk
The server was horrible, I paid $24.38 for burnt steak I couldn't even eat. I asked 3 times for management was never given the option. I had to ask a hostess and a bartender to help my server was useless
We had a reservation and we were seated promptly by the hostess. We then waited 20 minutes before we were served. I had to find a nearby waiter and let him know we had been waiting. The waitress finally came to the table and she did apologize for the wait. She blamed it on the tablets not working properly. We placed our order for our food and then waited about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, only for all of our food to be burnt. My Marguerita pizza was burnt, my child's quesadilla was burnt and my husbands salmon was burnt. We ate it because we were starving by this point and didn't want to wait longer for food. The bathrooms were filthy, there was hardly any stalls with toilets paper and mostly toilets weren't flushed. My child and I tried to wash our hands but there was no soap in any of the dispensers. We had fun playing the games, our only positive experience of the night.
When we went, it was completely dead. I made reservations thinking I would need too, def not. Even though we was literally the only people there, our server still took 10 minutes just to ask for our drinks, and waited awhile to see who our apparently waiter was going to even be, food was horrible. I got the steak cajun lobster sauce pasta, it tasted like mac n cheese steak was cooked wrong and shrimp was like water. I will not go back to this location.
Food taste awesome and fresh the wings are some of the best alcohol selection is great the service was good despite being busy our server was super friendly aswell heck even the water was really good only problems are the small amount of games to play but I understand they are probably expanding 5/5 also it is probably not a location specific thing but I was disappointed that I could only win a limited amount of tickets on 90 minutes of playtime I didn't know that when I chose that option for my card either

Can that fine print be any smaller? Reserved a table wanting $20/kid. Deal no longer available at my time. Didn't want to reserve birthday room bc didn't know if 2 kids or 7 kids would show up. 6 kids + me: planning on 7 x $20 = $140 plus tax and tip, right? Wrong - $475. I felt nauseous. But, showed up with 6 kids and a birthday cake, so what was I going to do? Employees were all nice, food was ok. But if the guy on the phone 2 weeks before had been the tiniest bit more helpful, I might not have felt so screwed over. Was going to do another kid birthday there, but idk.

As always we love the games, the arcade is one of my favorite things to do. But the restaurant experience is one of the worst I have had consistently. None of the servers are trained in hospitality, it took over 8 minutes for us to be greeted and another 10 to get drinks. Appetizers took forever and when we finally got them, all our silverware and plates where dirty, by the time we were able to even get a servers attention for help and ask for more, getting new plates took literally longer than getting drinks so we ate with our hands. Chips were stale but the queso was good. We also had the cheese fries that were good as well but the service was literally horrid. No one checked on us, everything took forever and if we weren't given something initially we basically have to give up on ever getting it. The kicker? THE CHICKEN GAVE MY BOYFRIEND SALMONELLA!!!! I'm not sure what kind of kitchen is happening back there but it's clearly not clean. He was sick for days and completely bedridden after he ate the chicken here, he lost 6 pounds from being sick. You should be ashamed management team. I have managed at many places and this whole experience was disgraceful

The food was amazing and expensive the atmosphere was as to be expected but the service in my opinion wasn't really good. The waiter wasn't really helpful and she seemed to rush everything when she came to the table.

I decided to try Dave & Buster’s in Lafayette for the first time, thinking it would be a fun way to spend some time indoors on a hot day. The experience was okay, but it didn’t live up to my expectations. Most of the games were ticket-based rather than the more engaging or skill-focused arcade games I’ve enjoyed elsewhere.
The prize room was underwhelming, so after playing a few rounds, I ended up giving my game card to a nearby family so their young child could use the tickets for something she wanted. It felt like a better use of the points than anything I would have redeemed.
I don’t plan to return, but I did discover a Topgolf nearby while driving away. I’ve had a lot of fun at Topgolf in the past, and once the weather cools down from the 100°F heat, I’ll give that location a try instead.

Just left and this place is a rip off! We purchased an eat and play card and when we went to eat they informed us it was just a play card. The girl we purchased the card from even told us to just show the receipt for the food. Also, beware that if you purchase an unlimited play card they cap the amount of tickets you can win at 1500!!!
