My friends and I just ate lunch here and it was so good! It’s right by campus and the service is great! Perfect for in between classes. We tried a bunch of different flavors and they were all super yummy. I would definitely recommend for a quick and delicious meal!!

I saw the owner of the Empanada Guy on a morning news show last week talking about their gumbo Empanada combo with gravy and potato salad. Simply a brilliant idea, especially in this area.
We went to eat lunch there the same day, and when I tell you that the Empanadas are amazing, it’s simply an understatement. We ordered a combo of several flavors and they were all delicious. We also had the sourdough blueberry muffin and the sourdough chocolate chip cookie, which were SO delicious! Then there was the staff, the absolute best customer service I have experienced in a restaurant in a very long time. Everyone, and I mean everyone we encountered there went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best that it could be. If you haven’t been there, you’re messing out!!

This was my first time trying The Empanada Guy in Lafayette, and it definitely won’t be my last! Service was excellent — very friendly and attentive. Even though it took a little while, the food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The jalapeno corn is my fav so far and oh my — the alfajores!🤤They seem to stay pretty busy, so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time.
This place is better than you can imagine, it's small but the empanadas are phenomenal. Everything we tried was delicious and the owner and employees were all incredibly sweet and helpful as it was our first visit. We are definitely going back very soon. We haven't stopped talking about 2 empanadas we didn't even get to try yet. Maybe tomorrow. 😁
