I visited Pyro Wings this past Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, the restaurant was almost empty despite it being a busy weekend in a foodie town. Initially, I planned to get my order to-go. I only ordered six lemon pepper wings since the price ($8.99 without any sides or drinks) seemed steep.
When the waitress informed me that my total was nearly $11, I requested a receipt as the math didn’t add up. She explained that the extra charge was a $1 fee for to-go orders. I was surprised by this surcharge, especially since there was no mention of this charge by the waitress or on the menu. The waitress, clearly just the messenger, explained it wasn't her decision, but this hidden fee felt like a deliberate attempt to catch customers off guard.
To avoid the surcharge, I opted to eat in the restaurant, even though it was cold and the metal chairs were uncomfortable. I figured that it wouldn’t take long to eat six wings. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, but as you can see from the photo, there was no visible evidence of lemon pepper seasoning. This lack of seasoning was a minor issue compared to the size of the wings, which were disappointingly small. I didn't expect whole wings, but these wings were tiny. I don’t understand how a place specializing in wings doesn’t excel at making them.
If you enjoy unseasoned, overpriced miniature wings with an unexpected to-go surcharge, Pyro Wings might be the place for you. However, I won't be returning.

I stopped by Pyro's Burgers & Wings for lunch the other day. The burger was good, and the bun was soft with a hint of sweetness. I got the Pyro burger, which is their spicy burger. The spicy level high enough to remind you it was there, but not so overpowering that it took away from the favor. My favorite thing I got were the wings. I went with the Pyro Jelly, which was a great combination of sweet and spicy. The wings themselves were also a nice size.

My husband & I both had the regular bacon cheeseburgers with fries. Delicious. The fries were perfect. Came back to our home away from home and told our daughter she needs to try them out.

Got 4 different wings and a cheeseburger. Great experience, super nice staff and the manager actually brought us some fresh strawberries with our meal.The largest and crispiest wings I’ve had in town. Favorite flavors were the lemon pepper and jerk which not a lot of people do well. Cheeseburger was top notch too. Will be back!
We have been twice in one week lols Great portions and price! Customer service has been great as well. Ugh the pyro wings (jelly and wet) with their ranch, Pyro ranch! I don’t really like condiments but whatever they put in that I was addicted at first dunk 🤣😩

Great local spot with a small menu that cooks what they cook very well. The boneless wings are excellent. Hand cut, cooked to perfection. We had buffalo and honey bbq. Both sauces excellent.Bone in breaded wings were freaking phenomenal. Pyro Jelly and thai chili are both great. I have to say blue cheese tastes like blue cheese as well. Not some weak counter part.Burger was ok. Sour dough bun was very good. Burger itself seasoned well. I would have liked a little more crust but overall very good. Only negative was frys. Wasn't a fan. Service, ambiance, appearance, off the charts. If you are wanting to support local.... come here.
