Rotolo's Pizzeria

Tonight we ordered 2 pizzas. One came out wrong. The server, who had been irritated along with another bar tender upon our arrival, got one of our pizzas wrong. I asked if she could add pepperoni to the top of it, to make it easier for everyone. She said the pepperoni was raw and would have to be cooked on it and had to be redone. HERE’S THE KICKER.. when she went up to the window to return the incorrect pizza (mind you we were 6 feet away), she told the cook/manager through the window “these people were confusing the hell out of me!”. Ma’am, we ordered 2 pizzas in a pizza restaurant. If that is confusing, please get a job elsewhere. Possibly one you are somewhat happy at.

Rotolo's Pizza has a great atmosphere with a welcoming and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently amazing, no matter what you order, and it's always prepared just right. One of the unique touches that really stands out is their seasonal custom cups, which change to match the time of year or special occasions. It's a small detail, but it adds to the overall fun and personal vibe of the place. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

Darian ROCKS!! She was on top of our table, we never had to ask for drinks, she recommended THE BEST pizza I’ve ever had, and she was so sweet!
The food was amazing, but seriously the service is why I’ll be back. Thank you Darian, I hope you see this!!

the server Darian gave us the best service I've ever gotten. the restaurant was PACKED and she handled us with patience, grace, and positivity. We will only come back when she's working. best ever

For full disclosure, we have Rotolo's another try because we had a free pizza coupon. Ordered at 5:45, got an update that it was ready at 6:16 as I walked into the restaurant. I didn't get my order until 6:45. They appeared incredibly understaffed, had tons of people waiting for take out orders, and what I did receive wasn't even hot (I live literally like 2 blocks away, so it's not a distance-to-eating-time issue). The chicken wings weren't hot and they were incredibly tough. The pizza wasn't hot, wasn't cut through for any of the slices, and was pretty sad all around. We won't be returning to this location even though it is in walking distance of our house. Hard pass. ?

Well I didnt eat because the web page gave the street address where I needed to pick up food but the number to Rotolos 100 miles away... When they answered they didn't say what rotolos they were so I didn't know to ask either. I ordered but when I went to pick up, there was no order for me. Then I discovered why. I will try again this weekend. I will say, a small signature pizza with all kinds of toppings in any variety are all set at 19 dollars. My plain pizza was same price so its very very expensive for pizza, but I guess we have to pay for the establishment and servers and service. It is very nice there. Clean, smells great, orderly, friendly staff.... I will try again.

Honestly, the worst pizza I've ever had. The sauce is as sweet as candy, so sweet it overpowers the taste of the toppings, the crust is just soft, bland and chewy and not completely cut. The Detroit style was actually worse. Thick, dry as a bone, flavorless and topped with a thick dollop of that objectionable sugary sauce. Maybe it was just an off night, but we will never return. The only upside was that one of the pizzas was free.

Received free pizza coupon so tried Rotolo’s. Bought a few different items. Food was good, really liked the sweet bacon salad paired with The Krewe pizza. Also liked the Italian Club pizza, sauce was good! Did not sit in restaurant so cannot review. The person on phone and for pick up was very nice and polite. Will definitely be back and try more items!
