Agave Blue Tequila and Taco Bar

I had them tonight for the first time. I ordered Elote, A shredded chicken chimichanga, and a steak nacho. It came with chips & salsa. The total came right around $60. The elote? Gross & too tart. The chips & salsa could’ve been store bought & better than what was served. The chimichanga was *okay*. I had fajita veggies added to the side & they were gross tbh (coming from someone who eats raw and sautéed veggies regularly). The steak nachos were maybe the best thing, but the cheese was hard/food was cold. Overall, I wouldn’t go back. Overpriced & tastes like an upscale Taco Bell (on a good day), not authentic Mexican.

I enjoyed the food. I didn’t quite get what I requested. I asked to have veggies ? ? broccoli and zucchini cooked “fajita style” and a side of grilled shrimp. I got something totally different. It was tasty. Just not what I was expecting. I do plan to visit again and order from the menu.

My wife and I love this place! Their cocktail menu is full of delicious surprises, and the margarita selection is equally diverse. The baja fish and the mole are my favorite tacos, but there's honestly no wrong way to go if you decide to eat there. The friendly staff always go out of their way to make sure the experience is comfortable and customized to our tastes.

Family took me here for my birthday, it was awesome! Drinks are almost the best part! Food was delicious too!

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair and it was slightly difficult to get in! Sidewalk outside had NO ramp. Tables were almost too close to get through.

We are some of the easiest guests to serve but our visit to Agave was less than satisfactory from the moment we sat down. ( Friday, March 15th) We sat for 12 minutes before a server came to put chips and salsa on our table but we still didn’t have water or drinks. Not to mention, there were servers walking around everywhere and people being served that had sat down after us. Finally, a man ( who looked like the manager/ owner) came to our table and asked us if our drink orders had been taken. He took our orders, then our waitress walked up to ask us if we were ready to order. Next, our tamale plates came out with sides of tortilla soup but we had ordered bean soup. The first waitress nor the guy manager never checked on us again. We had a different waitress who did well until she ran our check and charged us for 2 margaritas which we only had one margarita and a beer. Instead of rerunning our card she gave us a $10 bill. The whole experience was a hot mess. I definitely feel like the drinks should have been comped or we should have been given a dessert. Maybe it was an off day and we should give them another chance.

I had to scrape the bottom of the tray for the cheese on my nachos. But they did provide quick service with a smile.
