This place has the best MARGARITAS IN TOWN AND ........ If you order the steak Chile relleno you will not be disappointed. ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! DELICIOUSNESS

I came here for the first time with my man.
The taco salad was not tasty at all--the ground beef had too much filler in it.

I wish it would have been freshly prepared. My ground beef was a bit cold.

My guy enjoyed his meal...so I thank God for that. ✅

Great food, great drinks, and music. There is hardly ever a wait and the food gets to you quickly. Booth, bar, or table - all good choices. It's clean, friendly, and one of those places where you feel like you could be "a regular" (it just becomes your GO TO place).

Occasionally call-in or online orders take a bit longer, and make sure to check before you leave with them (sometimes there may be something missing or you got someone else's order - this happens everywhere though, so not that big of a deal).

All in all - if you are looking for good Mexican food or just a nice place to get a good meal in Zachary, this place is "El Mejor"! (that's "the best" for those who need a translation). :)

Same quality as the original Superior under its original management - fresh ingredients and authentic recipes - but it feels just a little bit cleaner inside. Possibly due to the age of the building, but it seems like everything is less "sticky" than Superior and now, a better quality since its competitor is more cost-concious under new management. Otherwise, very much the same restaurant with few changes. The restaurant is owned by former long-time Superior employees (I was told). I prefer El Mejor.

Was attending a zachary chamber meeting and this being my first time visiting this restaurant and was blown away by the food and the service. The manager mingle with us all and was very hands on. The customer service was top notch. This will definitely be one of my go to restaurant. I had been to several restaurants here since moving here several months ago and I feel I have found my go to and they have steaks also. So if you are looking for a night out or just want to relax after work. This atmosphere is what you need.

The tamale plate was the best I've had in a long time. The service was excellent and the beer cold. I'll be back

$41.00 for some shrimp (not deveined), beans and rice. I ate 1 shrimp by mistake and the beans. Not recommending this place at all. 0 stars.

Pay a little more but portions are big. You get great cuts of meat for your fajitas.
