I had an early flight so I stopped at waffle house.I explained how I wanted my eggs done to the cook. It wasn't done. And when I started to eat my meat was missing The best thing was the toast and grits.
I've been going to waffle House since it came to my area and I've eaten at waffle houses all over the country being a retired airline pilot and they're all the same and all they did was make a few improvements to their menu which makes them even better, hence the five-star rating. No chef menu items but home-cooked plates like your mom did, yes.
Had Mr Dee as a cook the food was off the chain no need to season the food he had it amazing and our waitress was Lakesha positive attitude and great service they work 2 till 9 pm there off Sunday and Monday.
