Plain and simple this store sucks period the staff is about as helpful as a bad case of diaper rash
10/14/2024 zachary location self checkout ate my cash and i ran out of time waiting. I understand this is bad luck and I’m not blaming any employee. For an hour now they’ve been checking the cameras. I’m sitting on self checkout with cold food melting RIGHT NOW at 3:45Pm on a Monday. I want to leave all my groceries and not come back, but the idea of throwing away over an hour of my life and 40$ then re shopping all over again a little bit poorer really sucks. Especially in this economy. The gentlman Tyrell on duty in self checkout has been nothing but great about my issue. After calling someone to review the footage, he came back 30 mins later concerned that my issue still wasn’t resolved and made another phone call pushing my case. Maybe he should get promoted to be the one reviewing cameras.
Update. Ashley is also an angel. She came back and started taking things apart and found another one of my $20 bills jammed. Just give the last $20 to Ashley and Tyrell as a tip when you get around to helping
As upset as I was , I still returned my cart to the cart return fyi

I went to Walmart on 10/04/24 around 2135hr. It was busy! Madison was the only person working the regular checkout. All other checkouts were selfpay. Everyone was coming to Madison's register and I want you to know that this young lady worked with a smile and was very pleasant. Even though she was the hardest worker there, that I saw, she did her job with a smile and a pleasant attitude. These are the type persons that will keep one coming to the store. I hope that Madison will be recognized for her hard work and pleasant attitude to the customers. Please put her in the public relations department because she knows how to treat people. I recognize Madison for a pay increase. B. Cameron

The bakery is HORRIBLE. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered and paid for a cake online. I usually have very good experiences with other Walmart locations so, I decided to try Zachary since it was more convenient… that was a mistake. When I went to pickup the cake at 5:30 they said the bakery was closed, even though it says open until 10:00. I had to go find an employee to get my cake from the back. I ordered to cake for my friend’s birthday and when I picked it up the cake was NOTHING like the cake I ordered. From the sprinkles to the topper it was all wrong. It was a completely different cake and instead of coloring the icing they used an airbrush machine to sloppily apply the color to the cake. I was appalled with this cake but no one was there to redo it or fix it and I was on my way to the birthday dinner. I will not be ordering from here again.

I’ve been to many Walmart stores across the USA and this is the best Walmart of them all. Every staff member and customer service representative has been very professional and super friendly. Thank you, Chirlyse, for taking such good care in bagging my groceries as my cashier and for your patience with the customers that were ahead of me.
