“El Huipil is a favorite spot, ever since I went to their first location in Maynard. For whatever reason, this Acton location doesn’t seem to get a lot of traffic, but if you’re in the area I really suggest you stop by. Food is great. I really wish they had a “simple” marg that wasn’t the house mix, but it’s not worth complaining about or docking a star.

“We have ordered takeout twice now. The food is excellent. We have had the enchiladas rojo, the carne asada Plato and quesadillas and an exceptional pork torta. All have been seasoned well and so flavorful! The only tiny complaint is that the side of guacamole with my quesadillas was very tiny, like a tablespoon. Next time (and there will e a next time) I will call that out when ordering This is a true gem in Billerica, you won’t be sorry“

“My husband and I went to Sobre Mesa last night, it had been recommended to us. We dined at the large U shaped bar. The atmosphere was lovely and customers appeared happy, as did the staff. I want to shout out Shannon, our bartender. Shannon welcomed us with her huge smile and positive energy. She really knew her way around the bar & talked to us about the menu. The margaritas had fresh lime juice and were so refreshing. We started with chips & salsa and guacamole, delicious. For dinner we ordered the fajitas with chicken, it was dynamite. “It was ok. Food was very very greasy. Like sopping wet tacos. Chips were a bit stale and they give you 3 dips with enough serving for half a person. My margarita was good. I would go back for the drinks but the food left me and my husband feeling yucky.“

“I am a long time patron of the Acton location, but I have recently also ordered from the Maynard location as well. I appreciate that the quality of this new location is just as good as the Acton one.

This is also just one of many locations that Bueno has in New England. And from my experience eating at almost all of them, the quality is equally high, wherever you decide to go. anyone here making a review, and attempting to compare this location to a restaurant like Santa Fe, or Oscars burritos is making a mistake. This is a chain restaurant. And considering that this restaurant is a chain, it is amazing.

They may be serving up Mexican food, but the Mexican food served at Bueno y Sano is a different style, a more Americanized version of Mexican food.

And the style that they do is one they do well. And the legacy of Bueno that stretches throughout New England and their 8 locations is continued here in Maynard.“
