Jeffrey's House of Pizza

Pizza was subpar, and the prices were very high. We got seven onion rings for $7.00. Throwing the menu away. It’s very hard to get good pizza in New Bedford!

First time ordering on Saturday and food was super soggy husband was there before food was out called to make a complaint to a girl who had answered the phone who said she was the manager by the name of Marissa to tell her about our complaints and she asked very rudely what would you like me to do about it. I am embarrassed for this establishment. I try very hard to give new businesses business so that we can support our communities and obviously this person has no idea how to treat customers Iike no coupon, offering to remake the food or even to give money off next order or something no nothing. Never again.

EDIT: In response to your response— no sir, the woman never offered to remake the food. Her response was, and I quote, “Well what do you want me to do about it?” in a tone that suggested it was absurd for me to be calling in with complaints. So not only did your employee not offer to correct the situation in any way shape or form but she was stunningly unprofessional about it. So it doesn't surprise me that your response includes claims of me being rude to try to invalidate me. But nope, sorry, my demeanor was just fine, pleasant even. As I explained on the phone, as a first time customer I wanted to get a sense of whether the quality of the food was Jeffreys’ norm or if this was a one-off case. But regardless of the food, I can see from your response to me here that the rudeness I was shown that day was a good indicator of the overall character of Jeffrey’s House of Pizza, because instead of looking to rectify the situation (or simply saying nothing) you double down and flat out lie on the internet in some juvenile approach to damage control. One of the better Gluten Free pizza’s in the area! I also had a gc from their old location that they honored even though they couldn’t scan it.

We accidentally ordered online when they were not open yet and the gentleman called us and said he’s going to make it for us. Very much appreciated going above and beyond like that for the customers. Thank you!

the fish from the fish and chips is frozen. It was a singular 5 inch piece of watery, somehow rubbery fish. Really disappointing that they charge $15 for such a small piece of low quality fish.

definitely order here if you enjoy frozen food drowned in an unreasonable amount of grease. Not to mention the owner’s unprofessional, snarky replies to the reviews on this page.

Edit: don’t listen to their reply trying to evade responsibility by claiming I’m a competitor, or that I reviewed the wrong restaurant. You aren’t the Krusty Krab bro plankton isn’t coming to take you down. Also, how is a review malicious and inaccurate just because it doesn’t praise you? I know what I said is true, and the more I read your comments I am inclined to believe that every other review is true as well. Raises questions about why you’re so paranoid about competitors, ‘malicious and inaccurate reviews’, perhaps there’s a reason for you to be so paranoid? Do you subconsciously believe that your food isn’t good? Interesting how the psyche reveals itself. People are allowed to have poor experiences at your establishment, and then voice those experiences. No need for such hostility.

I know what I ate, and I definitely know that the SINGULAR piece of fish was frozen. You can tell by the quality, taste, and how the fish breaks apart with a fork. Obviously fish and chips are going to be greasy. Obviously. However, the grease should not be piling up into pools that then flow on the fries and make them soggy.

McDonald’s has been in business longer than you have, does that make it quality food? No. Not sure what this 21 years open excuse is about. Thanks

Ordered pizza on Friday, online order was easy to use. Ready in 15 mins. I really appreciate they offer a pan pizza option. Getting sick of thin crust pizza that leaves me and the family still hungry. Jeffrey’s was great , good gum layer, thick cheese, crisp buttery crust. Will definitely be the new local favorite.

The food was simply awful. Couldn't even finish more than one slice of the pizza. They need to change their sauce and dough recipes because they are simply atrocious. You can find better pizzas at gas stations. Asides from that, the staff treated me very well and kindly.

Not bad, the pizza was actually quite good. I think the chicken portion of the Buffalo Chicken Pizza leaves something to be desired, but overall not bad.

Delicious pizza! We tried Jeffrey’s thin crust today and it was delicious!
