Food and service is usually pretty good. However the other day I was served raw chicken. No response from them. If you like your chicken rare, then great. If not, I’d check it before eating it 🤮

Husbands burger patty was rubbery and cold. Service SO BAD. I think the waitress didn't want to serve us. She would "fly by" barely glancing saying, "All good?" and not wait for the answer. My daughter's meal was cold which would have been fine if it was a cold dish. I have a gluten allergy and the waitress who didn't have any idea what a gluten allergy is advised me to not eat anything with dairy. What??? Don't they teach servers about this common allergy? And if you don't know- that's okay. But don't pretend you know! That's negligent.

I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and asked for celery to be added. They literally put whole celery sticks in the wrap in one spot and couldn’t take the time to cut them up. Quite annoying, figured I didn’t have to dumb it down that much and ask for it to be cut up.

Very disappointed, ordered boneless wings. Hard as a rock and the smallest pieces. This is the second time my order has been like this! Were they leftovers from night before??

I have never left a google review, and I hate the fact that I
I feel compelled to change that.Especially about a chain that I really enjoy. However, I have ordered wings over/the hangar multiple times through doordash, and any time that it comes from the Agawam location instead of the Westfield location, the order is inaccurate/dissapointing. Every SINGLE time that the order has come from the Agawam location, there has been some form of discrepancy. Without going through all of them, tonight's issue was a delivery of HALF of the wings that were ordered, charged in full, and sauces were all ranch instead of bleu cheese as ordered. Thankfully, doordash, who I do not blame for this issue based on this continually happening, did their best to make it right. If you are ordering wings over through grubhub/doordash/ubereats, be wary about the location of which they are delivering from. I will never again order from wings over on one of these sites for me/my family if it is coming from this particular branch. As a side bar: please do not let this review discourage anyone from ordering wings over from the other locations. As they are reliable, and delicious.

Confusingly bad in every way. The only thing less inspired than the food was the service.
The wings were acceptable but not extra crispy as requested. The cheese sticks weren’t hot and the burger was a flavorless puck. The server seemed pretty put out the whole time.
On the up side, this place has a lot of room for improvement, so there’s that.

Huge, juicy bone-in wings!! Gotta have the afterburner buffalo sauce: thick (sticks to the wings), super hot and extremely flavorful! Best wings I have had anywhere in the US, Canada, England and Belgium. Yup, l look for them everywhere I go.

PS: Brianna is my go to server. Excellent.

Always a stop when I'm in town. This location is by the river and has a big dining area, 2 pool tables, and a large wrap around bar. The wings were just as I imagined and are on top of my favorite wings list. Afterburner has got to be my favorite sauce, which I highly recommend if you're a spice fan. There are plenty of other flavors at your leisure if not. Perfect spot for a good beer and good food.

Parking: The entrance is right before the enterance sign on the left side of the building.

Now that I am reading the reviews, the kind of experience I had with the kitchen and FOH service as a liaison between the customer and the kitchen is more common than the owners want to admit.
Train your cooks not to serve cold food and train your FOH to give service instead of snark guys. This place has too many good reviews for the bad ones to NOT stick out like a sore thumb.
Now for my evening at The Hangar.
When visiting new areas, trying the beer and “the best wings” in or around town is one of my favorite things to do. I am here for work and was driving around looking for a “brewery”. The Hangar was the most popular result on Google Maps, so I go. Normally, I sit, order, eat, drink, pay, and leave; but tonight was an exceptionally bad experience.
I walked in and sat at a mostly empty bar, probably 6 people seated amongst the 20ish empty chairs. Without acknowledgment from staff, I choose a beer and decide that I need some of these excellent wings doused in sweet, spicy smelling sauces. Eventually, a bartender comes over takes my drink order, kindly brings me my beer, takes my food order (while double checking I don’t want more food? That felt a bit weird.), and heads to a terminal to enter in my order.
Here’s where the problems being for me, the kitchen sold me old food that had sat in a fryer basket, over prepped from a previous order. The cook decided that was okay AND a server/expo/runner also thought that was okay. Wanna know how I know they were old? Besides the wings being room temperature, they came out in under 5 minutes. When I remarked, “Wow… that was fast?” because I am a chef and life long line cook (and human with common sense) and I know how long chicken takes to get to 165. The server who dropped them off didn’t say a word, and walked away. When the bartender who opened my tab came back and asked if everything was okay, I let her know about the wings and before I could finish the sentence I was forming, she cut me off and said that the kitchen would remake them. Okay, no need to get defensive of Jeremy the Fry Guy out back. When I said I’d prefer them just taken off the bill and her face dropped and she gave me a clearly annoyed, “ OoooKayy…” and walked away.
That was all it took for me to drop a $10 on the bar to cover my delicious beer and walk out.
When someone doesn’t want to risk food born illness, don’t give them crap about it, just take the old, cold food off the bill. Even if I was indignant (I wasn’t) food safety isn’t a joke or worth the $3 in product that fry cook was trying to save your KM. I am so bummed.

This place has a very nice interior. However, the food took a bit long to come out. It was quite busy that day, so I'm not holding that against them all that much. The food was not great, though. The chicken wings were SUPER dry, and my burger felt like a hockey puck when I asked it to be cooked medium. Overall, it's not the best Hanger I've been to.

One of our go to spots. Always sit at the bar. Great bartender! She pretty much knows our order. That makes me feel appreciated.
