i don't recommend this restaurant because it's truly sad that this restaurant takes a $100 deposit to reserve a date in a section of the restaurant aka (the back room) for a party of 50 and refuses to apply the deposit to the bill. consumer beware because they call it a room rental after the fact. it's not advertised as a room rental.
Great value. Good food for a good price. Just a little too far for me to visit on a frequent basis. Went there to dine with retired friends from work.
Look, the food isn't going to change your life. But it's a solid value, tastes good, and the service is exceptional. If you're not chasing a Michelin star, you'll probably have a nice meal.

Kaptain Jimmy's | Restaurant & Distillery is a lively spot in Agawam with a unique mix of a cozy restaurant and a cool, industrial distillery. The vibe inside is awesome, featuring a nautical theme and big distilling equipment visible while you eat. The menu has a little bit of everything, from juicy burgers, fresh sushi, and crispy wings to really hearty seafood dishes that taste incredibly fresh. Portions are big enough to share or take some home. Specific meals include a 4 course special available Tuesday, Thursday, and all day Sunday for $25.99, with several items to choose from like a 10 oz prime rib. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly. The staff is super upbeat and always happy to suggest a drink made with the spirits they craft right on-site. There is plenty of space, often with live music or trivia nights that keep the energy high. The parking is like an airport parking lot, freaking huge, and the bathrooms are clean. It is a solid choice for date night, a family gathering, or hanging out with friends.
