Yukiya has been on my radar since I saw their mascot driving in Allston before they even opened. I finally got the chance to stop in and I was very satisfied by the visit. Within the group we ordered 3 different ramens and karage.
The tonkatsu broth in both the regular and spicy were wonderfully creamy and so full of flavor. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth clung onto them so well. The toppings were pretty standard with nice tender chashu and fresh veggies. The karage was also pretty solid but the noodles and broth overwhelmingly stole the show.
For spice lovers, the spicy tonkatsu is a must. I did not respect the spice enough at first and even ate the pepper that came with it and it left me coughing a little. But the spicy didn’t mask the deep flavor of the broth so I couldn’t stop myself from doing back in.
One area of improvement is the veggie ramen. Our vegetarian friend was satisfied, but not impressed.

Leaving this review primarily to say that the restaurant closed and has been replaced by a Chinese noodle restaurant.
Came here a few months ago and the food was decent. Sad to see them go :(

This was my first time visiting this ramen restaurant, and I ordered their signature Tonkotsu Ramen.
Unfortunately, the noodles were too slimy, which suggests they either weren’t drained properly after boiling or the boiling water wasn’t fresh. The broth was okay but lacked the richness and depth of flavor expected from a good tonkotsu ramen.
On the positive side, the pork chashu was well-prepared. They used pork belly, and it appeared to be seared beforehand, adding a nice texture and flavor.
Overall, the ramen had potential, but the execution especially with the noodles and broth—
fell short of expectations.

I’ve been a fan of this ramen spot and have always enjoyed their food. However, on my recent visit, I noticed that the meat wasn’t as tender as before. The broth and noodles were still great, but I hope they can bring back the tenderness that made their ramen stand out. Looking forward to visiting again!

Yukiya Ramen is a new ramen shop opened in the heart of Allston, right down the street from a busy Green Line station.
The atmosphere and service is very good. The staff prepared the food quite quickly, and the design of the restaurant was modern and looked very nice.
However, the food was a bit subpar. The cost for 1 ramen is around $16, which is average for the area and other Boston ramen restaurants. However, I felt the quality of the ramen here was below the rest. I got the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. The portion size is about average for the price, and the toppings were a good addition. However, the noodles felt a bit hard, a bit inbetween of being undercooked and chewy. The broth was alright, but sort of tasted like ramen meal kits you could buy in the supermarket. For $16, I probably wouldn't buy this again. I did try the Aburi Chashu and that was pretty good.
Overall it is a nice addition to the rest of the restaurants in the area, however I would probably need to try something else that isn't the ramen.

So delicious! Probably the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had. The chicken and rice serving on this dish was generous and well worth the price. Service was also very fast. Can't wait to eat here again!
The only thing is that finding parking can be very difficult so be safe if walking a longer distance

The food has gotten a lot worse since opening. Any frozen gyudon would taste better.

I ordered via UberEat. I got seaweed salad buy 1 get 1 free, and it tasted really bad. Maybe this is the reason why they give you 1 more free. Tonkotsu Ramen is ok but not to tasty as I expected.

New to the neighborhood Yukiya is a solid entry.
Karaage- nicely seasoned batter gives the quality chicken a nice crunch and comes with a nice savory sauce 4/5
Gyoza- crispy and tasty with a nice ginger sauce 4/5
Beef curry udon- the curry here is awesome. Not to thick or thin and full of savory flavor. Fair portion of thin strips beef and awesome udon noodles.
Will come here again and fits nicely in the neighborhood

Yukiya is absolutely phenomenal and deserves their solid rating, it's got seating for about 15 or so, and pricing is about 10 to 15 per person, a scan and go ordering system for each table, and the food came out quick, took maybe five minutes to get a great meal!
