3 Amigos is not your average Mexican/American restaurant. It's a combination of multiple latin and South American cousine.
We were amazed at the menu selections with each dish listed with the flag of the country it came from. The wife had Past31 de Choclo from Chile, see picture.
I had the Argentinian BBQ platter, a perfectly cooked med rare ribeye, grilled chicken, and Chorizo. We were blown away. Food was hot, flavorful, and filling.
We will be checking out the brunch sometime soon.

This is their $4 iced coffee…I bought 2 of them..no ice… just semi cold coffee…unfortunately I wasn’t the one that picked it up or else I wouldn’t have accepted it. Paying $40 in breakfast and getting this is laughable.

I went from very excited to try this place out to disapointed real quick. I spent $20 on the La diabla burger which did not even come with roasted jalapenos (what I assume is the whole point of the burger.) The burger was also really small. Nothing like the pictures on the site or from reviews. It tasted fine, but nothing special - something I could have made at home maybe the roasted jalapeons would have made the difference. and it came with a side of fries that were so soggy they were falling apart. I expect soggy fries when I get take out, but somehow they were also undercooked in the middle.

Then I spent $8 on a piece of tres leches which was just a broken up mushy piece of cake shoved in a half pound container with whip cream on top. Not at all what youd expect from a proper piece of tres leches espically at that price. Maybe I caught them on an off night or something, but I was really let down.

First time ever in Amherst and I can certainly say this is the best restaurant in the city. I might have to move here.

Had the 5-taco platter, in which I chose each one. The best ones for me were the fish taco and birria. My wife had a Portobello mushroom taco, which she says was delicious as well.

All in all, hands down 10/10. 1000% recommended.

Food was ok but was slow. What I didn't like about this restaurant was the way the customers pay. The new trend of having the waiter/waitress stand by when the customers are paying is VERY annoying. Even when the customer is willing to pay 18% more, or 20% or more, it's up to the customer, and they shouldn't be pressured to pay that much. But having the waiter/waitress standing there make the whole process pressured. I do not like it. I don't like feeling supervised.

My partner and I recently visited **3 Amigos in Amherst, MA**, after it was recommended to him by the owners. At first, I was a little skeptical, but the area is beautiful, and I’m so glad we went.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Alejandro (always a plus!). The restaurant itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and really captures the culture they’re aiming to portray. The music tied in perfectly with the atmosphere and the restaurant’s name, *3 Amigos.*

We started with the **chicharrón de cerdo**, **elote**, and a round of **five tacos**. Of course, I had to try a **passion fruit mojito**, and wow, it was both gorgeous and perfectly balanced. The chicharrón, served with fried plantains and salad, blew me away. The first bite was an explosion of flavor, the kind of dish that instantly makes it into my personal “top ever” list. (And if you follow my food photos, you know I’ve got nearly 5 million views, I’ve eaten at a lot of places!)

We couldn’t resist trying **one of each taco**, and they did not disappoint. The standout? The **birria tacos.** The consommé was so rich and flavorful, we even brought some home.

To finish, we were treated to some **coquito**. Normally, I don’t enjoy it, even though I’m Puerto Rican, but this one was unbelievably smooth, well-balanced, and beautifully presented.

Overall, 3 Amigos exceeded every expectation. The food, atmosphere, and service were top-notch. They have an event coming up on **October 12th**, so if you’re in the area, go support them, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Hunny for the invite (Juan)

We were a party of 8. We made a reservation for 1:00 pm. They served two people at our table food, then another 20-30 minutes we would receive two more plates. It is now 2:40, and we finally received all of the food for our party. The steak sandwich was bland, chewy and tough. The Chorillana steak definitely seems like a cheaper cut of meat than what I had the last time.

I have eaten here twice and recommended this place to the rest of the group and now I seem like a liar.

I cannot believe how unorganized, slow and terrible the food was this time we came here. It was supposed to be a birthday celebration.

Extremely disappointed in the food and service today.

Great authentic Mexican, I ordered 3 tacos which where a healthy size which came with rice and brown beans, loved it! I can't wait to go back again, great food, clean environment and loved the ambiance.
