“A little off the beaten path - that is, on a side street off of Main - is this small unprepossessing eatery. But what a pleasant find! Terrific falafels, gyros, baba ganoush, hummus, kabobs, and more - all delicious and served in a friendly welcoming manner. The proprietors are Syrian and they give these popular dishes a different - but good! - twist. For desserts, they have baklava of course, but also try their Syrian harissa (yes, harissa - not the chili paste, but in Syria it's the name of a semolina and rose water-scented syrup dessert). I had their gyro plate and it was very tasty; my wife's falafel pita wrap was equally good - nice fluffy and crisp falafels and a smoky baba ganoush; and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken kabob wrap. We'll definitely be back!”

“This sleepy college town housed a surprisingly numerous Chinese restaurant scene, among other Asian cuisines. This appeared to be the pick of the lot, offering authentic Northern-style items including noodles. The option to order a tofu stir-fry seemed appealing, and indeed several options were clearly marked as vegetarian and vegan. However, the signature dish is a fresh sort of noodle distinctive to the region, and I was seduced by the distinctively springy texture and fresh flavor. It took around fifteen minutes to make those noodles, and while I was on a schedule, it was worth waiting for fresh food.”

“Wonderful ambience, great staff, surprisingly reasonable prices for the experience. Cocktails are next level; great selection of craft beers. I rarely go out to eat these days because things are so expensive & simultaneously mediocre/subpar in the post-COVID restaurant industry all over rural and semirural New England. This is hands-down the best ROI I’ve found in all of the Northeast, outside of Boston & NYC; stopped in by accident when Iya Sushi was unexpectedly closed. Just a beautiful place with decent portions of outstanding deliciousness at a sane price & a seemingly cool crew working there.Whoever manage/design this place know what they’re doing & offer a remarkable old school experience that middle class people don’t often get in 2024. ?”

It didn't give a farm-like feel, except for the apple cider and soup offerings. The presence of a tourist map for exploration was appreciated. You can create the sandwich of your dreams on any bread you can imagine made just for you.We weren't shopping but we walked through Atkins to get to the deli and then back to the tables where you can eat. Young, old, black, white, all co-mingling in a glorious harmonic mix. I love the vibe.I loved the soup and sandwich. I loved the Market. “I've been here twice on two different trips to Amherst! Every dish was a delightful journey into the vibrant and complex flavors of Thai cuisine.Starting with the pumpkin curry, it was a rich and aromatic dish with the sweetness of the pumpkin complementing the warm Thai spices. A very comforting dish! I couldn't resist trying the Pad Thai, a classic Thai noodle dish, which did not disappoint! The Siam rolls, we're one of the crispiest things I've ever had! The contrast between the crunchy exterior and the tender, flavorful interior likely makes them irresistible appetizers. I regret eating them all in one sitting but I knew they would be good in a hotel microwave. The chicken coconut soup, made with a creamy coconut milk base, kaffir lime, tender chicken, mushrooms, and other herbs and spices infused the broth with layers of complex flavors, creating a comforting and aromatic soup that warms the soul. Lastly, the Thai-style basil chicken pan-fried dish was flavorful with tender chicken, aromatic Thai basil, bell peppers, onions, and chilies. This is also a staple of mine when visiting a Thai restaurant and I loved this one!The service is great, very quick, and polite! I will return here whenever my next trip to Amherst is!”
