“Went their for dinner with my wife, we'd been fighting and needed a place that was calm to bond over food. The place was chill and we found some calm in being surrounded by students. Thanks, better than marriage counseling...did I mention the food was hot, quick and delicious.“
“I have only ever gotten take out here but I love it and we get it all the time. Our favorite dish is the special spicy tofu, and we usually get veggies fried rice and veg spring rolls as well. If you couldn't tell already, my wife and I are vegetarian and are pleased with the wide selection of fresh and flavorful dishes! Not too greasy or too sweet, real flavor. We have also ordered dishes for friends that include the meat dishes and the beef lo mein seems to be a hit.I appreciate the convenient online ordering system, and the takeout bag is a grab and go table so no waiting in line to get your food or sign anything. I love this as someone picking up and am sure the folks eating in appreciate that there are not take out customers standing around crowding up the space. Very friendly and efficient process, good quality food and generous portions!Vegetarian options: Tons! There is an entire veg section on the menu, we live the special spicy tofu which I'm fairly certain is also vegan (no fish sauce or eggs) very very hot though!! ?Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Vegan, vegetarian, dairy free options“
“I LOVE GINGER GARDEN. From the South Shore, we have the best Chinese food (ifykyk). Ginger Garden is the closest you're gonna get in the Amherst area. Ginger Garden never misses- very consistent. Whether you get take out or dine in, the food is always solid.“
“Best Chinese food in Amherst downtown. The authentic Pork Shredded in Beijing Sauce are not found in any other Chinese restaurant! Mapo Tofu is another dish I highly recommend. The spiciness of the Szechuan food here is just as it should be.Besides, the service is now very satisfactory, the waiters are friendly and attentive to customers' needs.“
“This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Not just the best Chinese food but the best food overall.Incredible every time .The Sichuan dishes are our favorite (particularly the soft shell crabs and the shrimp ones), the whole fish with ginger and scallion, Lou mei, and soups are other favorites.Highly recommend.“
“Love their food, always a great dine in experience, but take out was a nightmare. Waited an extra 30 minutes for our order. Ordered online at 7:09, estimated pickup of 20-35 minutes. Yes, they were busy, but food was not ready until after 8. Lots of other people also waiting for food. Perhaps update your online ordering system? Stewed beef soup, Orange Beef, Seaweed Salad. All very tasty. Hot and Sour Soup was cold, (and we live 2 blocks away.)“
“The food is very good. Very friendly. AffordableVegetarian options: I have vegetarian eater in my family, they have specific dishes and menu that is, but also you can just tell them, I want xyz leave out the meat and eggs… they are very accommodating. Just tell them your needs.Dietary restrictions: They are very good with allergies and food issues. I always change the shrimp and no eggs and they have no problem. Delicious.Parking: Nice large parking right in front of building. Short walk to the door.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room. Friendly staff.. large tables.“
“I've NEVER had a bad experience at this restaurant. This place is a solid go-to. Their prices are fair value. Their food is always fresh and the rices are always perfectly cooked. Try the lo mein, you'll love it. SEE MORE BELOW.Pro Tips for Orders: Avoid the egg rolls, they're too small for their pice. And always ask for more condiments.“
“MinFen Kitchen is the best “authentic” Asian food around. Wong Garden (now closed) could not compare. I have tried 6 different Asian food places nearby and nothing is as good as this place. My fiancée and I order at least once a week. I would die for their house lo-mein. This small business delivers crazy happiness - portions are large, food is phenomenal, and it’s a local family business, how could you say no? Don’t count them out. Was and will always be my favorite takeout place. Plan to have my own wedding catered by them.“
“This sleepy college town housed a surprisingly numerous Chinese restaurant scene, among other Asian cuisines. This appeared to be the pick of the lot, offering authentic Northern-style items including noodles. The option to order a tofu stir-fry seemed appealing, and indeed several options were clearly marked as vegetarian and vegan. However, the signature dish is a fresh sort of noodle distinctive to the region, and I was seduced by the distinctively springy texture and fresh flavor. It took around fifteen minutes to make those noodles, and while I was on a schedule, it was worth waiting for fresh food.“
