“Of my favorite spots in Amherst is Lili's it is a quick bus ride away from UMASS and it is worth the trip! Two of my favorite dishes are the stewed beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy.“

“What a fabulous place! We had a tofu skin and wood ear cold plate that was out of this world. It had a very light magical dressing. We also had veggie dumplings that were a meal in themselves, and we had the sesame noodles…also very tasty! It was a symphony of balanced tastes and textures in a lovely atmosphere with a charming server.“

The all-day combo is so affordable, with a lot of options. We like the General Tso's Chicken, Mapo Tofu, Beef Teriyaki Skewers, Poached Chicken over Rice, and Crab Rangoons, but you can't miss with anything here. Vegetarian options: I have vegetarian eater in my family, they have specific dishes and menu that is, but also you can just tell them, I want xyz leave out the meat and eggs… they are very accommodating. Just tell them your needs.

Dietary restrictions: They are very good with allergies and food issues. I always change the shrimp and no eggs and they have no problem. Delicious.

Parking: Nice large parking right in front of building. Short walk to the door.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of room. Friendly staff.. large tables.“

I am so glad we gave it another try! The steamed veggies and meat option (choose your own veggies/meat/sauce combo) was a delightful deal, the sashimi is fresh and well-priced, lunch specials were a hit. The tea really hit the spot on a cold day, too! Five people ate plenty for $74, which was pretty great. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service pleasant.“
