“Mae’s pizza is the best around. Super fresh and always cooked to perfection. We ordered a large cheese pizza and the large pizza is HUGE! Plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. The owner is great to work with if you have any special requests. Go to Mae’s for great pizza!”

“Love this place. Open very early and the service is quick. I appreciate a small eat-in diner, you are served at your table and when you are ready to go you simply pay at the counter. This is great if you are working and are on a tight schedule, but also want the luxury of a big early morning breakfast. I am usually in and out before the "second wave" of breakfast diners usually roll in around 8:30-9 and then it becomes a bustling neighborhood spot. I do love coming here for a more leisurely experience on days off as well, great place to meet friends and neighbors for a coffee.”

“One of the best road side summer hang out spots. They have beyond burgers too for the vegetarians! We've gotten all kinds of food here: ice cream, root beer float, burgers, fries and onion rings etc. There is ample parking and a field or back with picnic tables and little play structures for small children. Great for families with kids, I'm looking Forward to taking my daughter here and heading some ICE cream with parent friends this summer ?Vegetarian options: Lots of the sides are veg (onion rings, fries etc.) and they also have plant based "Beyond" burgers. “I appreciate this Subway so much! It is one of the only viable fast food options near my house, and they have a drive-through! The speaker isn’t the greatest so you have to speak up but the staff are always super nice and polite when taking your order and do their best to ensure they get everything right. Super convenient and always do a great job.”

“A little off the beaten path - that is, on a side street off of Main - is this small unprepossessing eatery. But what a pleasant find! Terrific falafels, gyros, baba ganoush, hummus, kabobs, and more - all delicious and served in a friendly welcoming manner. The proprietors are Syrian and they give these popular dishes a different - but good! - twist. For desserts, they have baklava of course, but also try their Syrian harissa (yes, harissa - not the chili paste, but in Syria it's the name of a semolina and rose water-scented syrup dessert). I had their gyro plate and it was very tasty; my wife's falafel pita wrap was equally good - nice fluffy and crisp falafels and a smoky baba ganoush; and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken kabob wrap. We'll definitely be back!”

“Happened to be traveling through, and we decided to try Alina’s. Truly enjoyed the SHRIMP FRA DIAVOLO (nice and spicy), MAMA’S MEATBALLS (light and tasty),, ALINA’S LINGUINE (packed with seafood), a beautifully plated CAESAR SALAD that I had to split with wife and a side of creamy risotto Milanese.The ambiance is very homey and traditional. They have a piano bar on Tuesdays, I believe. Victor the waiter was awesome. He treated us as if we were his only table. Wished us well on our journey. Loved speaking with Remi, the Chef, as he confirmed that Angel Hair pasta is too delicate for shrimp, better for cheese, tomato and basil. Been having this argument with my wifey for years. Of course, all restaurants will serve you whatever pasta you wish. Great restaurant and good times.”

“This sleepy college town housed a surprisingly numerous Chinese restaurant scene, among other Asian cuisines. This appeared to be the pick of the lot, offering authentic Northern-style items including noodles. The option to order a tofu stir-fry seemed appealing, and indeed several options were clearly marked as vegetarian and vegan. However, the signature dish is a fresh sort of noodle distinctive to the region, and I was seduced by the distinctively springy texture and fresh flavor. It took around fifteen minutes to make those noodles, and while I was on a schedule, it was worth waiting for fresh food.”

“This is a quaint and friendly coffee and breakfast shop with freshly made food, coffee, lattes, and other drinks along with pastries omelets and more. It appears to have many local regulars. My pesto omelet loaded with vegetables was so good but I had to take half home it was so large. There was not a crumb left by my friend of his French toast with strawberries and whip cream which was totally devoured by him!”

“It's at a highway rest stop, so expectations shouldn't be too high. At least they're open on Sundays! Sandwich was fine - typical "fast food" style sub. A little lighter on meat than the best sandwiches but just fine. The bread was okay, seemed a little crispy like it wasn't the freshest bread but okay. Why didn't they cut it all the way through? I don't know but places like this often leave a part of the bread not quite cut all the way through which annoys me but isn't a major issue.”

“Very busy on a Friday early evening, parking challenging as their lot was full at 5:30, and side streets are mostly one way, but that's Holyoke. Service was exemplary - everything came out quickly. My companion had striped bass, a special, and said it was wonderful . I had the short rib which was outstanding despite a bit of fat, which is to be expected. Fried oysters great, flourless chocolate torte very good. Good selection of wine by the glass, and unusually generous pour. Atmosphere lively, pretty loud in the bar area, but nonetheless fun.So nice to have a place like this in downtown. Will return for sure.”

“We tried for the first time today! :) Food was great & coffee even better. Really enjoyed my coffee. Service wasn’t rude but was very unfriendly. Very stoic and serious, straight to the point. Seemed bothered by our presence and a question on the menu. The dining area wasn’t clean and upon walking in, everyone was standing around (we were the only ones in there) so not sure why it was so messy. Perhaps they were taking a break in between a rush which is understandable! I will give it another shot soon.”

“I have to mention the person who assisted us. As two weary travelers on "The Pike" my wife and I became hungry and stopped at this location. We were a bit undecided as to what to get but Robin, who was working the counter, was both patient and friendly while helping us decide. She did a fantastic job of helping us and going above and beyond by checking on us after being served.
