This place has a friendly Atmosphere, The Bartender is Great and it's not so packed even with the UMass Students back in school. You can smoke and bring your drink outside. But don't pass that porch or YOUR OUT. and Bartender Dan is on it and don't play..
Good beer at a great price with good to great service.

The American Legion is a welcoming bar and chill spot, catering primarily to veterans and active military personnel. It offers a comfortable environment for those who support and respect the country's heroes. However, some visitors have reported experiencing less-than-cordial treatment, particularly those who are not part of the military community.
