Outdoor seating with heat lamps and fire pit
Food was mediocre at best. Wait staff was very professional and friendly, but kitchen was clearly slow. Restaurant wasn’t busy, but perhaps very large wedding going on was slowing things down. I found it odd that I asked for a 6:30 reservation and was told I’d have to come in at 6:15 (no big deal); however, the place was never even close to full from the time we got there until we left around 7:30.

30 Boltwood offers a pleasant atmosphere, though some find it a bit outdated. The restaurant can be calm and relaxed, especially when not crowded. The food quality is inconsistent, with some dishes like the salmon and burger being average and lacking flavor. However, the food can also be fantastic, making it a mixed dining experience.
The restaurant is located in a charming inn, offering a nice setting. While the first visit may not have been great, the subsequent visits have been excellent, with highly recommended dining experiences. The service can be friendly, but also slow and inattentive at times.
The menu features delicious options, such as the chicken wing appetizer, the Reed Farm chicken, and the salmon dinners. The portions are generous, and the food is often praised for its quality. The restaurant also offers a brunch menu with dishes like the Turkish Eggs, which have been well-received.
Overall, 30 Boltwood provides a mixed dining experience, with both positive and negative aspects. The atmosphere, food quality, and service can vary, but the restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking a charming dining experience in Amherst.
