One bad apple: I went on a Thanksgiving evening (out of state), ordered a pitcher because my friend was in the parking lot, got denied by this guy, short hair, glasses and incredibly rude. Went a few more times, the bartender eye balls everyone and chain smokes and the whole place smells really bad(nicotine). Don't get me wrong, the other bartender are incredibly kind. My other friend got banned for putting beer on the pool table. Y'all need to fire the angry chainsmoker bartender. Incredible bar and bartender before 5 pm. I'm friends with 4 other bartenders.

Bald short bartender is angry from the minute you walk in. Checked id’s and looked at our group suspiciously despite all of us being 21+. Refused to make a 2 ingredient drink. Said he “doesn’t make martinis”, meaning he can’t mix vodka and vermouth. Gross floors, windows never cleaned, air conditioner packed with black mold. Horrible place made for angry people

This bar is for veterans and active military+ it is not a undergrad bar or a college bar at all. This is a spot for vets and military to relax and feel comfortable. If you support our country/respect our heros then come in with respect. All are welcome if your respectful.????????????????

Kicked my friend out (who has difficulty hearing) on a crowded night with no explanation.After 5 minutes of standing outside dumbfounded we figured the bartender must have thought he was hammered. Funny because my friend has never had a sip of alcohol in his entire life and ordered a water.Feel free to stop by if you want to be treated like dirt by a bartender with an ego problem who uses “been doing this for a long time” as an excuse to be completely incorrect.
The worst American Legion Club I have ever been in. I didn't feel my husband a Vietnam Veteran was treated cordially, we were visiting from NH and the bartender could not have cared less

Prices are excellent, but it is CASH ONLY (atm on site). This is not a typical "undergraduate bar" - very different atmosphere, and this environment is protected. This place is great if you're looking for something casual for small groups to hangout. My favorite bar in Amherst though.
