Dined for the first time the interior is very nice and modern but very loud. Our server was very nice…. we had the Oyster Rockefeller, which were some of the best I’ve ever had the clam chowder was really good. The Salmon and Filet was probably the best meal and quality we’ve ever had. The waitstaff and chef were personable and friendly. The atmosphere was light and clean. I plan to bring everyone I know to experience the quality of their meals. 5 stars for us!
We really enjoyed Amherst Oyster Bar. We started with fresh raw oysters that were well cleaned (a must!). They came with your typical condiments. The mignonette was balanced and did not over-power the oysters. I had a hankering for good fish and chips and they did not disappoint with haddock filets and a gluten free beer batter that was not too heavy. The French fries had a perfect crunch. I was not crazy about the coleslaw, but that's never my favorite thing about fish...
