It’s taken me this long to leave a review to Cushman’s because I love this spot so much that I could gush about it for ages. Suffice to say that the food is delicious and wonderfully affordable (compared to Boston area prices) and the cafe is super cute, and I love escaping campus to spend time here. ❤️

In this little old funky building you can have a variety of hanging out and dining experiences. With the market in the front, the cafe in the back and the patio on the side there are plenty of spaces to shop or refresh. Its funkyness is part of the charm. The menu includes many coffee specialty drinks and teas, plus what ever you want to get from the market fridges. They have a nice big breakfast menu including vegan options. There are a couple bakery cases. There are sandwiches for lunch, and a few pre-made sandwiches can be found in the market fridges. I usually have breakfast and a nice journaling session in the morning with my large coffee. My favorite is the Daily, which is simply eggs and toast. IIt's fast funky casual - a step up from the ordinary.

Love this place, both the market and the cafe. Great food, with an impressive range of options for those with dietary restrictions. The staff are friendly and professional. I agree with those who say the wait can be very long- but I'll also say it's well worth the wait. ??

Great place for relaxing deli type meals. Staff friendly, food is wonderful. Had BLT with avocado and turkey. Homemade specialty drinks. Homemade breads. The front of the bldg is a small grocery complete with a nice selection of wines.

We love Cushman’s café, especially during patio weather. Breakfast sandwiches, bowls, and burritos are delicious, sandwiches creative and substantial, and they make a good latte. Staff is friendly, even when the line is extra long.
45 minutes for mid eggs and toast I would absolutely not recommend coming here until they put some serious effort into managing the place better. I get their busy but bad attitudes coupled with an awful wait time makes this a sad place to buy food from.
The food was amazing! A little bit of a wait because it was busy but definitely worth it :)

Truly one of the best breakfast/sandwich shops in the area. I used to live in Amherst around 7 years ago and miss this place so much but got to stop in this weekend after a long hiatus. The breakfast sandwiches on a roll are so satisfying and the matcha is really tasty. Almost everything here is. Don’t skip the baked goods. And go look at their salt and pepper shaker collection.
