Food was great. Service was unfortunately quite bad. Server #1 (male) forgot my request for more salsa... server #2 (female) made me wait about 5 minutes after I had my meal to check on me ... even though I had no utensils. Then she was extremely slow to check in throughout my time there. Guessing she was new and not well trained. I would go back to give them a 2nd chance.

The meal had a wide variety of flavors, the carnitas tacos were a mix of spicy, savory, and piquant, albeit, a little dry. The salsa was very vinegary and sour, but it had a good spice to it too. The horchata was overly sweet and saccharine. Overall it was a decent meal with its pros and cons.

The food was delicious, and full of authentic flavor. The portions were generous; definitely good value for the price.

Best Salvadorian food Ive ever had! I highly recommend the pupusas chicken and cheese is my favorite. Their mexicana burrito was spectacular and their drinks and service were as well.

Ive never had an unimpressive dish from El Comalito. Everything Ive had is awesome. BUT, I will say that the Carne Asada burrito, is nothing short of incredible. Beans or no beans, either way is amazing. Better than Bueno y Sano, better than La Veracruzana, better than Garcias, Better than Mission Cantina, its hands down the best in the area. In a town full of similar Latin American restaurants, El Comalito stands out on a different level.

Absolutely wonderful. Only regret is that I didn't get to try the hot chocolate, but that just gives me a reason to go back again
