They do offer vegan options which is nice. However, it’s just not the best quality food overall/over priced for something I could make better at home.

Great family atmosphere, food was wonderful, Roger was a great server and very accommodating!

Ordered lunch chicken quesadilla for $11, but waiter claimed he asked me if I want the $17.99 version instead. Of course I did not because I’m on a budget. Additionally and quite apart the salsa looked like it was leftover as you could see the original water line. Chicken was of inferior quality and tasted “Bombado” like it was reheated from yesterday. Toppings like guacamole and sour cream were just okay. What has happened to Garcia’s? I still gave the guy a $2 tip.

Update: maybe your waiters need to listen more carefully to what is being ordered. Why in the world would the waiter ask me if I wanted a dinner size when I was showing him the lunch menu at 11:30 AM? I only asked for corn vs flour tortilla. Did he misunderstand me? The young woman who took dish away can vouch that most of the food was left on the plate.

Not a Family-Friendly Place

I went to this place with my wife and 3-year-old kid. While the food is decent, the people are not. My kid started exploring this place and ran around a bit. While I can TOTALLY understand why that may bother the staff and other customers; as a parent and family friendly place, you have to deal with the fact that kids are sometimes unruly. Apparently, this restaurant does not understand that. I'd definitely not go in the future.

We really enjoyed our date night out at Garcia's. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have an excellent vegan menu! I was not faced with only one or two things to choose from but many great choices! Wow!
I loved my cucumber margaritas.
The service was even more impressive. Really good job there.
Ill be returning!

Vegetarian options: Faux meats & cheeses. Nachos! Yes!

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Tables seemed a good height to pull a wheel chair up to with room for maneuverability

I am no expert on Mexican food, so my satisfaction with this Amherst experience is merely to say the food is delicious and the super-sized margaritas are civilian space travel. Generous salted rim! But be sure to bring along a designated driver if you plan on more than one margarita blast off. The visual brilliance of interior design is a delight. Sevice is super cheerful. Parking is free and easy.

Everyone we talked to on the staff was so nice. Also it seemed Everyone was bilingual.

Solid Mexican restaurant with vegetarian options in Amherst! Excellent guacamole and spinach enchiladas. The chicken mole was also top notch! The food came extremely fast and servers were very friendly! We’ve dined twice and plan to be back!
