All you can eat lunch for $17. The selection was impressive! Lots of vegetarian options. I am not a student and came with my husband who is a UMass alumni. We had an amazing lunch! That being said, I saw a lot of food wastage around while there. It's always a difficult balance between choosing tasty food and making sure $17 is worth it. Since it's a university campus, I am hoping they can evaluate how to reduce food wastage while providing good value to students.
Early May 2024 We were at UMASS for an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament and boy was it fun. One of the points of coming to pick up our boy was the discount at the Cafeteria. A great perk for having the tournament there. We went in and it was STAR WARS day and there were lightsabers and vader aprons and blue milk. Like other dining commons, they utilize a rotational menu of foods from across the world. One unique feature of Hampshire is that it doesn't serve any soda, instead opting to be more health conscious by serving fruit drinks and locally sourced milk instead.
