The tempura tastes too oily, service is not attentive enough
They have a great and diverse menu. The chicken teriyaki was absolutely delicious, and the portion was generous and very filling. And definitely try their mochi ice creams; they’re truly amazing!
So hot outside, cooking was off the table. Sushi and Korean iced tea was on the table and we were very happy people. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The sushi was fresh, delicious and abundant. We will be back!
Wow this food was delicious, I can't wait to return.
We went here for a random Thursday dinner and were shocked at how amazing it was. Food was incredible and so fast! The service was lovely. We had a great night and wholeheartedly recommend!
A large portion size but lacks flavor in food. Although We went on a Friday night, Restaurant was almost deserted.
House of Teriyaki is an Asian restaurant located right outside the UMass Amherst campus, with a decently sized dining room.
The staff were friendly and brought out the food quite quickly.
The food was alright. I got the tteokbokki, which was on the spicy side but overall quite tasty. The bibimbap had good portion sizes, and had a nice mix of toppings on it. Overall was pretty good, does lean on the expensive side but not surprised given the location it is in.
Overall, a decent try for any students in the area.
House of Teriyaki. There's so much to say about this place. Between the flavors, the environment, and the service. Today we were waited on by a very nice young man. Daniel. He was pleasantly patient and intuitive to our every need. Easily the best waiter. Every single time I come here I'm absolutely blown away. Their food options especially are beyond words. The chicken fried rice is best here than literally anywhere else I've been. I also have a wonderful place in my heart for their ginger pork. Oh. They're ginger tea blends perfectly with every single dish, providing a pleasant subtle cleanse of your palate refreshing every bite you take allowing you to savor the flavor of each and every bite.
Finally just in case you don't believe me. I travel just about an hour just to eat here as often as I can.
I get takeout from House of Teriyaki when I'm in the area. It's always amazing! I love Korean food and the Tteokbokki is delicious, spicy, sweet.

Unfortunately, the egg rolls were very bland. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and although the presentation was nice on a hot, fajita type plate, the chicken was very fatty: full of skin, fat and cartilage that was not at all appetizing or tasty.
Parking: Limited parking spots behind the building.

I love their sushi specially “smoked salmon avocado “. They give you a complimentary Miso soup even with take out orders which is great ? but fried rice was not so good to me ?

Lovely interior and very quick staff. All entrees came with a side salad and a side miso soup as an appetizer. Both were great and justified meal prices. Worth a try if you are in the mood for Japanese food and around Amherst.? Chicken Donbori Katsu: 8.7/10 hearty and yummy! (≈$18)? Spicy Salmon Roll: 7.5/10 solid but nothing special (≈$6)? Salmon Donbori Bowl: 8/10 solid (≈$16)? Tofu Yaki Udon: 9/10 delicious tofu! (≈$16)
