Went here yesterday with my family & ordered over $200 worth of food. (Big eaters) We got a bit of everything, our waitress was super accommodating (3 kids) with explaining what we were ordering, serving size, etc. which if you're a parent you know this is very helpful. Everything was prepared to absolute perfection, looked very appealing, & tasted even better! Ended up ordering a couple Cannonball Sushi's to take home because my God šŸ¤ŒšŸ¼šŸ”„ IMHO it's reasonably priced for the food/location. SOLID 9/10 Hidden gem status.

My favorite place to grab a quick meal in Amherst. Easy to grab parking, intimate space, friendly staff. The Bumblecrunch roll is a must have. Even their salad is my fave. Thank you!

I've given this location many chances, but it's just not as good as their South Hadley location. I get the same order every single time I go to Iya, no matter which location I go to, & the Amherst one is just never as good. They some how even package things differently. it's so hard to eat my garlic noodles out of this little black container thats stuffed to the top. my noodles are falling out all over the place, and they're much lighter in color than they should be. you wouldn't get food poisoning from here, but if you have time just drive the extra 15-20 minutes to the other location. it's so much better.

It's not that bad in the US. .

Probably from someone from the country where some of the food at this restaurant originated. .

Sorry. This dish is nothing like this. You can make more, infinitely more delicious, beautiful, and beautiful.

However, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the people overseas who are working hard to make this product.

Iya is a modern-looking Asian restaurant specializing in East Asian dishes in the Amherst area. The atmosphere reminds me of a more upscale restaurant, with lots of open seating and wide windows to view out onto the street.

The service here is very good, they were very attentive to our needs and brought the food out in a timely manner.

The food was alright. I think it is a little overpriced for the portion and the toppings we get ($1 for spicy, when it was only oil) and the portion size is decent, but a little less than what I would've expected.

Overall, it is a good place to eat at, but not one that I would eat at everyday.

The sushi was decent, but the meat in both the bao and bibimbap tasted really really old. Kind of let down.

Take out for $100 was the worst ever. Gyoza burnt and dry. Spicy Dragon Roll dry. Eel dry and burned. Garden Salad dressing rancid. We have gone there for years in the past. Never again.

IYA is amazing. I came here to try the ramen and sushi and they did not disappoint. The space is very nice inside and the staff are nice. The food took a little while to come out, but not too long. I really enjoyed the ramen. The sushi was good, too.

I am a lifelong resident here in the Pioneer Valley, when iya sushi first showed up in this area I thought it was pretty good. Since then, many things have gone downhill. I would come regularly with my family of four, friends, and coworkers. I always tipped them well, 20-25% . since then the portions have shrank, the same exact things cost more and you get less. Also the ā€œlunch specials ā€œ were very misleading, if you got the three roll lunch special , it would often cost more than ordering them separately, I pointed it out on several occasions, and they did not change it, and they acted like they didn’t know about it. A bit of trickery. Another point of contention, They should not offer to-go . When I ate in, I always got the food very fast. The last several times I purchased to-go food it took 45-55 minutes . You might think, maybe they were busy, but no , each time not very many patrons eating inside. The last time I ordered takeout I was told it would take 40 minutes. I went into the restaurant 25 minutes later and the worker told me I called just 10 minutes earlier and it would take a lot more time. I showed the worker the call from my iPhone, which clearly showed I called the number 25 minutes earlier… she said ohh. There were at least 5 people working at that time, and only a couple people in the restaurant eating already. They had not started my order and most workers were not doing anything, taking to each other , etc. I saw patrons come in and get their food before my take order from 45 minutes earlier…. Special. Maybe just don’t do take out? Also The attitude many of the workers seemed arrogant and a bit rude. Just don’t do to go if you can’t handle it, but I will still never come back with anyone . Sorry.
