Nice warm interior. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Brussels sprouts dish is amazing as was my pasta.
Even though we hate to wait when we had a reservation. The hostess was polite, hard working and honest. The hostess was polite and attentive. The food was good, but the bar was slow. We had to wait too long for our drink order, so long that our second drinks didn't come until we finished the meal. I will assume the slow bar is why we had to wait for our table.
Decent food, decently prepared at a reasonable price. Staff competent and friendly. Noise level acceptable. Please keep it this way!
We went with another couple. We had the calamari app which was amazingly tender and the rare tuna sandwich which was perfect and not fishy at all. The combination was enough food for both of us. We also had a bottle of the Broadside Chardonnay which went well with everything. Our server was very attentive and told us that there was no hurry so we could take our time. We did just that as we had some more drinks and we were there for three hours!
The menu was right up our alley and everything we picked was delicious. They were able to accommodate dietary needs. We mixed in matched pasta and sauce, and it was delicious.
Always a great spot when I am in town visiting my son at Amherst College. Never disappoints.
Excellent food, great service! The pappardelle with crab is superb. Reservations are helpful. On the noisy side, but the overall vibe of the restaurant is warm and friendly. We will most certainly return.
We were a party of 4 seated at a table with chairs in between surrounding booths. The chairs were VERY flimsy, at a similar table nearby we witnessed a woman fall as she was sitting down when the chair slipped out from under her just from the weight of her small purse (the woman was ok). Waitstaff quickly tended to the woman and seated her at a nearby booth ensuring she was ok but the party that sat at the table immediately following the incident also had their chair fall from a jacket over the seat. It's near winter, chairs should be sturdy enough to hold at least a purse over the back without toppling over. Aside from the chair issue I found the food to be very good, the service however very slow. It was a crowded night and our server was pleasant but the wait was definitely a bit longer than expected.
We had our son's Rehearsal Dinner in the Amherst room on Oct. 23rd. Nothing short of amazing! Appetizers were plentiful and delicious, as was the steak, chicken and shrimp & crab scampi. Our server Karen was one in a million, she was two steps ahead the whole evening and a big part of the success shared by the wedding party. Thank you to all the staff for making it a magical night :)

After waiting 75 minutes for our order to arrive, the steaks were of a poor quality cut and overdone, dry and hardly edible. To their credit, the did not charge us for these dishes.
This was a disappointing third visit for us. Food was average, portions were small and the service was slow.
The ladies at the host stand were fantastic. Our server was very attentive. The food was fantastic!
The food is always delicious. Their chef has meticulous attention to detail and a real flair for putting a little twist on a dish that really elevates it.
A favorite place for dinner with family. Tbe portion of tuna with a beet salad was huge! Delicious.
