My friends and I had lunch today here, we were seated right away and the waitresses were friendly and attentive. Food was very good, we highly recommend their beef noodles, wonton with chili oil and soup dumplings. Will definitely come again!!

I ordered a noodle soup that was really quite bland and my friends soup had very small and fatty pieces of beef that lacked flavor. Our food felt healthy but wasn’t a very tasty experience.

For a native Beijinger, the name of the restaurant evokes a sense of nostalgia for home. Upon entering, it feels like a warm and cozy little eatery. The staff are friendly and provide attentive service.
The food tastes quite good. I ordered the hot and sour noodles, which were genuinely both sour and spicy—very satisfying to eat. The braised beef, however, wasn’t tender enough. This seems to be a common issue with braised beef in restaurants—prioritizing presentation over tenderness. The pickled vegetables tasted good but were a bit salty. In fact, it seems like all the dishes were on the salty side… very salty.
That said, the overall experience was still quite good. The prices aren’t exactly cheap—this isn’t the kind of place where you can simply walk in, grab a steaming bowl of noodles, and fill your stomach. It’s a place where you’ll need to spend a bit more.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the area! Excellent dumplings, noodles, and soups. Especially enjoyed the cucumber salad, ceviche, hu tong shumai, and dan dan noodles.

We were passing by this restaurant on the way to a different place to eat. We looked in the windows and noticed it had a very attractive looking appearance. We decided to give it a try and we are very glad we did! We enjoyed our delicious dishes! The flavors were great and I enjoyed the hot chili oil at our table. Nice ambiance and very clean. We will be returning!

Since it was raining and a bit chilly, I was craving some noodle soup. Luckily, I found this beautifully decorated Chinese-style restaurant. The place was really clean, which is a big plus because a lot of older Chinese restaurants in the U.S. tend to be dirty, with greasy surfaces and bad odors—places I definitely avoid. But the moment I saw the entrance to this restaurant, I had a good feeling about it!
As for the food, everything was fantastic! The flavors were on point, and it was all super delicious. The handmade noodles were especially noteworthy—the broth was rich and flavorful, tasting like it was made from real chicken, not the typical MSG-heavy broth you often get in Chinese restaurants here. The texture of the noodles was perfectly chewy and springy, which is rare to find in the U.S. The soup dumplings were also excellent, the skins were thin, the soup inside was juicy, and the meat filling wasn’t too salty.
I’m so happy to have found such a great Chinese restaurant!

Believe the great reviews. Terrific food in a charming space. Everything is made fresh there and the presentation is really nice as well The taste and quality were exceptional! They obviously care about the details. This is the best Chinese food I've had in Western MA. Menu is limited mostly to dumplings, noodles and soups but that's part of how they keep the quality up.

Amherst is the place to go in Western Massachusetts for great Chinese food, and this one was absolutely stellar. Just one bite of the soup dumpling and I was transported to San Francisco's Chinatown. We also shared the Dan Dan noodles (pretty spicy!) and the pot stickers. All of it was completely different from all the other "Chinese" places we don't even bother with any more. Everything was just so tasty and fun to eat. Service was very good and charming as well, and the atmosphere combined with the top-notch food gave me that big-city feeling. All this, for the same price as two overpriced burgers with boring fries in most other places. Our son is a chef in San Francisco. This is where we'll bring him.

Ordered the spicy hot dish , I have had plenty of spicy hot dishes of food before but I can’t describe the strange “hot” this dish was . The dumplings and other things we had were great , but I really couldn’t eat the spicy hot noodle soup I ordered . Not saying it was bad but saying it was a different heat than I was used to . You might like it I really didn’t. Our waitress was very friendly but most ask when you order a spicy item but she didn’t.
