Had lunch on a Saturday. Got there at noon, and all the seats filled up fast. Food came out quickly after ordering. Great service. Food ordered: pork sandwich, steamed pork dumplings, pork spring rolls, fried shrimp, pork lo mein, and duck noodle soup ?. Excellent on everything ? Parking can be tricky in this busy part of town. Paid a metered spot and walked a block or two. Highly recommend this spot. $60 tab was very reasonable.

Miss Saigon is a staple in the Amherst area, serving cheap Vietnamese food to hungry college students from both the UMass Amherst and Amherst College campuses.

The atmosphere is alright. It does get very crowded especially for dinnertime, and the service may be a bit slower than usual when they are busy. However, they do check-in on you and food comes out very quickly. The place is a little dim, especially during night, but it isn't too loud in the restaurant.

I've tried multiple items on the menu, and I think the Pho Dac Biet is very good here. The portion size is alright, however I do believe the portion size has gotten smaller over time, as I remember having larger bowls. However, the price of the dishes are very cheap and the food is of great quality when compared to the price. I also highly recommend the Crab Udon Soup here, it is one of the best dishes i've had on the menu.

For appetizers, I've tried the Spicy Crab Rangoon and the Pork Eggrolls. They are both very crispy and the dipping sauce goes well with the dishes.

They have some vegetarian options.
We had vegetable pho and asked them for a vegetable udon and they kindly prepared it for us.
The food was fresh and nice.

I've had better udons and better phos before but this one was good as well.

I think this restaurant is not famous for its vegetarian options though.

But the quality was good overall and the waitress was very nice and friendly and she remembered all the orders very well although we were 12 people at the table they also moved the tables to accommodate us.

Great restaurant which has a diverse menu, mostly traditional Vietnamese but also has other Asian dishes. Would love to have a restaurant like this near where I live. The dishes are affordable, service was nice and quick. We got the bahn mi and pho which the latter was smaller than expected but overall delicious.

Great good, but they charged me for rice that the menu said was included with lunch specials, so I won't return.

The amount of sugar in the savory food at this restaurant is just not okay. I"m pre-diabetic and extra aware of added sugar. I though by ordering protein and vegetables I'd be okay. There was an absolutely insane amount of sugar in both the chicken lettuce wraps and the stirfy seafood. I ate a few bites of each of my blood sugar skyrocketed, despite a 7 mile bike ride to the restaurant and back to the car in northhampton. Our waiter was really nice but as an ethical matter I really believe it's just not okay to add this much sugar to your food. Plus, it just tastes gross. Whyyyyyyyy??????? :( Same food without the sugar would have been great.

I love this restaurant, it’s the only place I go to eat after I get out of work. Tonight was a an experience I have never had before here. It wasn’t that busy so I went in was taken to a table and sat down. Waited for about 3 minutes and no water was given to me, someone came by with water looked at my cup then proceeded to walk by like they didn’t see a empty cup next to me. Waited for about 10 minutes and no one came to get my order and thought well maybe they had orders to bring out and then came in a group and they were sat down in front of my table. Another couple of minutes came by and a server went to give them water and took their order while I sat there, no water and haven’t ordered my food yet. Honestly I love the place but at least serve some water and let me know when someone can take my order and not make me wait. I have worked being a waiter before so I know what to do but hopefully they can learn that these actions are unacceptable.
