The best fries one could ask for. Ask anyone ?
Worst place ever. They had Bollywood night and it was so unmanaged that we stayed in linefor 2 hours and they told us to leave without letting us enter. And the guy was really rude. They should have a ticket system if they knew there were going to be a lot of people.
They do whatever they want. They post an opening time and don’t open until an hour after. They start kicking people out 45 minutes early. I enjoy going but wish they opened as posted.

We will never come back! Long wait to get dinner ( about 2 hrs). Meals were too heavy. Crazy Alfredo, Mac Cheese, Shrimp Risotto, Scallops Risotto all drenched in cheese and cream. After few bites you get nauseous. Lamb meal to sour. Terrible experience!
Mother’s day nightmare! the service was absolutely horrible! Drink order was taken and not brought until half hour later. No place settings or water. when asked the waitress for the third time for water she responded that she knew already. So incredibly rude. Food arrived separately with appetizers with main entree. Burger came with nothing. 15$ for a burger that came with nothing. ordered chicken risotto which the chicken was rubbery and the entire meal cold. not happy and will not be visiting again. a shame as my son is a rising sophomore at umass.
Very average, random menu, food quality and presentation a disappointment. Back dining room was a weird setup and had zero ambience. Won’t return here.
Visited Bistro 63 for the first time recently on a Saturday night. We were in town for a college hockey game at U Mass. It was one of the few restaurants we could get a reservation at though we were calling days ahead of our visit. My wife had the Crazy Alfredo and liked it very much. It seemed like a popular dish as I saw other diners ordering it as well. I had the chicken sandwich which was ok. Dessert was tiramisu which we shared and which was excellent. Service was very good for a busy Saturday night and the waitress was pleasant and engaging. Will visit again in the future.
A great college bar

I ordered the vegan burger. $15. With tip, I spent at least $17 on this burger. This is what came with it: one normal size vegan burger, minimal toppings, on a large plate. Nothing else came with it. No pickles, no coleslaw possibly…. Plus, the burger fell apart nearly soon after I began to eat it. Waaay overpriced for what you get. The presentation was just underwhelming because of the size of it the size of the large plate and a sloppy looking burger. Furthermore, for a holiday weekend, the place looked suspiciously empty for a Friday night. Service wasn’t very organized and somewhat short talking. I used to come here a while ago and this place does not feel like the same atmosphere and quality like it used to have.
Got denied entry with my real ID despite being 24 years old because their scanners aren’t working properly. Like someone else said, don’t bother coming here if you’re from out of state. I even offered to show a picture of a passport or something else with my name on it and was told I needed another form of ID that would scan. Obviously I didn’t bring every form of ID I have because why would I? Telling everyone I know not to come here and to find another bar where all their friends can actually get in.
The vegan squash risotto is delicious!
Food is just ok. You her served the food and they never check back with you and you have to track them down to pay. Things show up as they are cooked. Just meh.
A thoroughly bad experience . I ordered their special margarita and it was watered down and flavorless. I sent it back and waited a half hour for a basic margarita which was no better than the first one. It took a long time for the drinks to arrive. Our food took a ridiculous amount of time to come as well. One dish came first and that person was finished with the meal by the time the rest of the order arrived. The macaroni needed salt, which we asked for, but that never arrived . Hamburger was supposed to be medium rare but was medium. Strangely enough the waitress had the check ready in record time! A manager should have been at our table apologizing for everything but no one, including the wait person, apologized for anything!
