The best locally roasted coffee in the valley! Great egg sandwiches and baked goods. Excellent lattes and other espresso drinks. I love their raspberry muffins and their mocha bread.

I really like their chocolate chip banana bread. (Despite it being GF!) I wish it’s a regular item on their menu… I’d come everyday

Cool vibe and good coffee.
Share has been the only cafe I’ve frequented regularly for the last few years (especially since Haymarket Cafe closed). I became a matcha drinker during that time and they made a very good one! Until recently that is, when (as others have written in recent reviews) they stopped using the traditional method of mixing the matcha powder. The new shaking method does not work and leaves lots of dry lumps of matcha in the drinks - not to mention the shaker. Matcha is an expensive tea and an expensive drink, but if it’s no longer a good drink I will need to go elsewhere. Espresso drinks also take considerable time to prepare, but similarly silly techniques are not employed with them to save time…
I’ve lived in the valley for the past 12 years, and Share has become my favorite coffee shop. Kind staff, a simple but delicious coffee menu with high quality espresso drinks and great in-house pastries. Combine with a light and airy interior and a great patio. So happy to have this here. Some parking behind the shop, about as much as you can hope for in Amherst.

I come to this coffee shop almost every day, I love it here. The reason I chose those shop over others is because they make a delicious Matcha Latte. As of a couple weeks ago, however, they switched to using a salad dressing container to shake (!!!) the matcha rather than the traditional wooden whisk. The person who made this change clearly is not a matcha drinker, but some of us cannot have coffee and drinking matcha that has clumps of powder and that taste like dirt is not it. I don't know who chose to enact the salad dressing bottle protocol but I beg you, go back to the whisk, salad dressing matcha sucks.

I would normally give this a 5 star review but the matcha is different and chunkier and has clumps recently. I don’t know what changed but it’s not as good as it was like a month ago. Sandwiches are good though!
So I saw the matcha process and it’s mixed in a jar? Not with a whisk anymore? Not good.

$1.25 for syrup in a drink is pretty expensive. I paid $7.25 for a 12oz latte with whole milk and vanilla syrup and I certainly won’t be purchasing a drink here again.
I’ve been coming to Share Coffee in Amherst since they open! Love the Baristas , the Espresso, the gluten free baked goods and the Matcha….
Did I say Matcha… well, here is where things got weird. I make matcha at home, and I use the traditional Chasen (the matcha wisk) to mix and foam this delicious japanese green tea.
Today I see my lovely Barista putting the matcha powder into an OXO Good Grips Salad Dressing Shaker (!!!) she proceeded to vigorously shake the green liquid… the result: a clumpy mess where half of the mixture stayed stuck to the walls of the SALAD dressing container. Who’s idea was to change the way they mix my matchas?
Please bring the whisks back and stop this non-sense!

Great spot for coffee and little sandwiches. They were pretty busy when my girlfriend and I visited, so my sandwich was a little delayed. The server with the cool half shaved haircut insisted on giving me a refund for the delay, even though I wasn't bothered by it all. Excellent customer service, great food and drinks.
