“BEST tacos in the Valley! Western Mass is desolate desert for good Mexican food BUT JJ Brothers is an oasis! Amazing food, great service in a family run restaurant. Great spot for groceries too. So many flavors of Jaritos, enchilada sauce and Mexican snacks.“

“We got take out from 3 amigos last night (10/5). It was quoted at a 25 minute wait and was ready when I got there in around that time frame. They asked me to check my order before leaving which I thought was great as most places just take your money and scoot ya out the door. It wasn’t very busy inside but the food in tables looked great. I hope by the time we are ready to go out to eat again (I’m due with our 2nd kiddo legit any second) they are able to secure a liquor license because by how good our food was at home I can’t imagine how fantastic it will be in house with a cold margarita to pair it with. The servers were friendly but obviously we did take out so I can’t comment on other aspects of service. Now the food. So good. We got our toddler an asparagus taco which he only ate the asparagus off of but both my husband and I enjoyed the cilantro dressing and commented we would eat it with chips on its own 😂 he also had a chicken quesadilla which was two small tortillas folded in half. The chicken was fantastic and the second quesadilla I ate cold today was really still quite delicious. He also got the elite corn kids and which he ultimately couldn’t get past the fact my husband said there was cheese on it- both hubs and I agreed it was delicious since we split it. Hubs and I each got a 3 taco plate. He had carnitas carne and birria. I had fried shrimp carne and birria. My only complaint about mine was I wish I had the option to do grilled shrimp over fried. The breading was good but heavy and I always feel breading detracts from flavor of a taco. The slaw was good but the sauce definitely had a kick. Hubs and I agreed the carne was delicious and well prepared and the black beans on the taco were. Great addition. They aren’t overdone but kept simple and the flavors really shine thru. Hubs said his carnitas was good. Onion and fresh pineapple on top. Can’t comment on flavor but he said it was good. Now the star of the show for me was the birria. The consume alone had extra meat in it and after I finished my taco I drank the leftover consume. That flavorful. On par with some of the amazing birria tacos we had in Arizona earlier this year. Truly I could eat like half a dozen of them. So needless to say I’m so glad we were able to try it. And I cannot wait to go back and try breakfast on my maternity leave and dinner when they get a liquor license because this mama to 2 will need a margarita by then haha“
