This place has the best birria tacos, good-sized portions, and is affordable. The only complaint I would have is paying for extra lettuce and the extra sauces but not receiving it in my past orders. They must have been busy during those times, but nonetheless, I still order from here since it's so good.

I ordered four orders of birria taco meals on June 27th for my brothers birthday dinner. All four of the orders were missing the broth/sauce. I tried to contact them but couldn’t find a number and contacted their other location who informed me they don’t have any phone. We were stuck eating dry tacos.

Had an extremely pleasant dining experience. The cashier was friendly and helpful, offering amazing recommendations and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend if looking for delicious Mexican food in the Amherst area.

I’ve come here plenty of times in the past, today on 6/8 the cashier did not seem to know what she was doing and extremely confused. I placed my order in person for takeout, my receipt was correct with what I ordered but I didn’t receive the sides I payed for which is frustrating as this same cashier has done this before. I got no diabla salsa, no side of sour cream and there was cilantro in my consomé which I asked for it not to be. There were cilantro in all 3 of my tacos. I asked if everything was in the bag including my sides and she said yes. At the time of my order it was not busy, however my order was still missing things. I’m also concerned that the cashier checked me and a few others out, and then continued to prepare the food orders with no gloves after touching money. If no gloves are worn in preparing the food there should be proper handwashing procedures as touching money and then preparing tacos and food could result in customers getting very sick. That is a big health violation.

On 5/14/25, my partner and I ordered the chicken and birria bowl for delivery; not only were both of the bowls missing the green verde sauce that we requested, but I found a long strand of hair in my chicken bowl. I felt compelled to write this review because of the biohazard that this lack of awareness/
poor hygiene can potentiate. Highly disappointed and disgusted.

Me and my friends love going to Taquiera de Pueblo, their Birria is delicious. However this evening, at around 7:20-7:25, we went in to grab a quick bite and were halted by the cashier that mentioned that the cook was closed up for the night. The man was very friendly, but we were very surprised that such an amazing resturaunt would close down 35-40 minutes before closing without warning.

Some of the best Mexican in the area with amazing deals. The food is flavorful the people are very kind. The barria tacos are to die for.

There's a lot of mexican food in Amherst, its saturated. Do yourself a favor, instead of messing around with other spots, just go to Taqueria Del Pueblo and get the birria. So good.

Colin was the nicest and best server ever. I had a food allergy and he made me feel so seen and comfortable!

Ordered a steak burrito and birria quesadilla for delivery. Quesadilla was alright but both my wife and I literally spit out our first bite of the burrito. The steak was old and tasted rotten. So disappointed. All I can think is that drunk people who can't taste are writing good reviews.

My friend took me here on a whim after having their birria ramen- we enjoyed the tacos & tortas! Very casual & cute interior

They make one heck of a torta. I need to go back asap and explore the menu a bit more because their IG posts make everything look delicious

ordered a chicken burrito . I usually get burritos from Bueno y Sano, but decided to give another place a try. Huge mistake. I got the extra chicken and the spicy salsa not only does it have no flavor and I mean no flavor either the chicken or the beans or any hint of any salsa but there was a minuscule amount of chicken on it. So that extra two dollars, that i thought was for extra chicken, I guess they thought was a gift. The tortilla tasted not only store-bought but slightly stale. and it was the size of a taco from bueno y sano but cost the same amount as one of their grande burritos, which could feed you for three days. in other words, if you want a burrito, go right next-door to Buena y sano, know where they have the best burritos in the world. I hate when I try to do things! Also, how the hell do they have 4 1/2 stars? It was a high contender for the worst burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Actually may have been the worst burrito of my life. See photos of teensy burrito with barely a hint of chicken.
