A truly/literally hidden gem! In traditional speakeasy fashion you have to find it to enjoy it… Exquisite top shelf cocktails, relaxed vibe, and highly skilled barkeeps. No better place in town to immerse in delightful company and delicious beverages.

Coolest place in the valley. Amazing atmosphere and bartenders, but paired with mind-blowing drinks and a rotating menu? These people are obsessed with good cocktails and they have every right to be as these are the best I've had. Everyone is chill and the location is awesome. Super recommend coming in the summer or early in the evening to avoid students, but honestly this place is worth facing a crowd for. Cannot exaggerate or overstate how much this place rules.

Alright, first off the drinks are spectacular. Brought my mother in law and she said the Queen of Sheba was the best drink she'd ever had. Secondly, the atmosphere is excellent. Always great music, calm vibes, beautiful art. But most importantly, this bar has the finest bathroom of any institution in the Pioneer Valley. I care a lot about bathrooms at restaurants and bars. I think it reflects the level of care and consideration the owners have for little details and people's comfort. It's all about the decor, lighting, towel options, and biggest one is soap. Archives scores 10/10 in every category. Lovely art displays to view while pooping, best smelling soap of my life, and holy crap they have the best paper towels money can buy. I look forward to taking a piss in there every time I go. I've raved about it to all of my friends. Best bathroom. Thank you Archives.

Coolest place ever. Curious and interesting cocktails that are always changing so it’s never the same. Great atmosphere. Our little get away when we need a few hours to decompress. Celebrated my husband’s birthday with a drink there when my daughter was visiting. ?

I adore the Archives! Definitely one of the best mixology places in the Pioneer Valley. Classic and original cocktails are VERY well prepared. The speakeasy entry and old basement environment are very cool and surprisingly comfortable. I regularly drive half an hour out of my way to visit.

You want to go to a great speak easy in Amherst? Look no further, this place has great drinks and they're not the run of the mill garbage you drink at a local bar. They carry only the finest bottles! They serve many types of martinis and special house drinks that will knock your socks off. There's one catch.... you have to find it. There's a few clues to find this place. Don't ask anyone exactly where it is, it'll take the fun out of it. We found it in 20 minutes after figuring out how to..... I said too much.... this is a speak easy like the prohibition times, you'll find the secret way to get in.

Awesome spot to grab a great drink. The bartenders are certainly passionate about their craft. The Big in Japan was the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Incredibly smooth! Their espresso martini (third wave) was fantastic as well. Looking forward to going back.
