Vibey spot in town. Good food and coffee, and a great spot to read, listen to live music on offer or just chillax.

I think the only thing this place really has going for it are the vegan pastry options and the baked goods. Otherwise, $14 for a sandwich? I got the valley girl and it was small with hardly anything in it!! Also the coffee is consistently not good. It doesn’t have a strong taste, it’s usually watery and burnt tasting.
Great sandwich spot

The Black Sheep Deli has been in Amherst for years. The food is good and they have a great selection of interesting goodies. While it's kinda pricey, it's not as bad as other places around town. All things being equal, it's a good place to go except for the fact the place is usually very crowded, staff is disinterested and the entitlement of the customers is matched only by the hipster conversations that you can't help but overhear.

Great local bakery with freshly baked goods. Their croissants are second to none this side of the Atlantic

Best coffee around. The bagel sandwiches are a crowd favorite. Dont overlook the prepackaged soups, pastries, spreads, etc in the refrigerators. Their croissants and cookies are my personal go-tos.

Gave me, and I’m not joking, two deli slices of ham on a ham sandwich that was nearly $14.00. I have never in my life felt so scammed lol
My husband and I were in Amherst getting my son settled for college. We were hungry and wanted some breakfast. My son found the Black Sheep online. My husband said the coffee was fabulous! My son loved his turkey sandwich and I had a delicious bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. They didn't have any croissants left in the kitchen so they gave me the last one in the display! They were so accommodating! Many people were in there using the Wi-Fi for their laptops.

Well established cafe in downtown Amherst. The two of us great sandwiches, i had chicken with salad on a baguette. Sounds simple but the baguette was good, the chicken fresh and the tomato ripe. No cokes but they did have spindrifts. Friendly service and prompt too. A range of good looking croissants which we did not sample. Lots of seating area.
Apricot Danish. They have the best. I still love this place even after moving away thirty years ago. Glad their baked goods are still high quality.
Best breakfast sandwiches ever (not even kidding).
