Not much to say....very rude staff. Won't ever try again. This is the Amherst MA location. Enjoyed the Portland, ME location.

Went there because it was one of the only places open at 7am. But spending $8 for a poor quality croissant and a muffin I wish I had not gone there.

See the photo I posted. also, a little too much mustard on the apple panini (overpowered the apple taste)

Paid $10 for a sandwich with 3 slices of tomato and 3 slices of cheese, when I asked if they could add some more to make look more like an actual sandwich, they said they could but that it would cost more

A perfectly nice sandwich, in an order at the back and seat yourself situation.

What is wrong with your toaster? Nothing is ever properly toasted! Toast should be light golden brown. I shouldn’t have to tell you this.
To be clear, I have ordered from The Works many times; and have never had my bread properly toasted.

Came from brunch and it was busy with a line out the door. All the tables were taken, mostly with students studying. The young man taking the orders was nice. There was a lot of staff behind the counter filling the orders.
I was disappointed with my sandwich. Just was not tasty or fresh.
Reminded me of a Panera, over priced and not that good.

Amazing food which is also healthy and it has a great menu. I love the sandwiches, smoothies, bagels, and Mac and cheese.
Parking: There are parking meters outside the restaurant and some parking lots not too far away.
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, perfect portions, and they even have a kids corner.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

We were staying right next to the works so we decided to try it out. We got the super chicken panini and Mac and cheese, and I got an iced vanilla latte for coffee. Food was really good, especially the panini. Coffee was ok, tasted watered down and a bit artificial. Overall a good quick breakfast spot.

Parking: They don't have a lot, so you'll have to find street parking nearby. This can be a bit tricky, plus you have to pay to park at most times of day.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will find something to eat on the menu, whether it be mac and cheese or the daily soup option. Most of their offerings are healthier than kids usually go for, though -- there's some quinoa, salads, and more adventurous ingredients.
