Fifteen minutes into our first consultation with them, my husband and I were already texting each other under the table: “This is the one!” Their professional, warm demeanor made planning a wedding menu seem fun instead of stressful, and no part of what we wanted seemed to throw them off their game. We wanted an all vegetarian menu? No problem. We wanted to incorporate our Jewish heritage into the food? Perfect, they had a zillion tasty ideas about how to do that. We had a guest with a severe gluten allergy? The founder of Wheelhouse is also extremely gluten intolerant, so they were very capable of providing that guest with a safe and beautiful dining experience.
The team at Wheelhouse was in constant communication with us. They had a timeline set up from the start, and they were always right on schedule. They created a menu tailored specifically to our tastes, with no compromises. It was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a better planning process, and definitely felt very cared for. The entire time leading up to the wedding, starting with that first consultation, we felt that the team at Wheelhouse personally cared very much about our wedding day.
The day of the event, they handled everything with perfect ease. There were no hitches, accidents, or surprises. The food was DELICIOUS — everything we wanted and more.
The final touch? Zofia found us after our meal to personally tell us that our ceremony was beautiful, and moved her. That stuck with us. What caterer cares about the wedding ceremony?! Only one as involved and passionate as the Wheelhouse team.

Using local ingredients, crafted a menu to meet my husband and I, and pulling off consistent amazing food for well over 100+; I could go on and on about the pros of Wheelhouse and why they stand far above the crowd. In addition to the food being top tier, they are super easy to get ahold of, have all the kinks worked out and are just overall awesome. Would recommend without a doubt.

All the staff were wonderful and everything far exceeded my expectations: In particular, they had an amazing intuition as to the timing/flow of the evening and helped move everything along in a seamless professional fashion. The space also really facilitated good conversation and mingling and then a comfortable and spacious sit-down-dinner area.

We've had the pleasure of working with Wheelhouse twice now - both times an outdoor buffet luncheon for a memorial service. Of course the food is (as others have said) fabulous, and the reason I chose them the second time around. But what I appreciated most was the efficiency and ease of the planning process, and the professionalism of their staff. Having worked in the service industry for a good part of my adult life, I tend to be picky and bit of a control-freak: I have high expectations. Wheelhouse made it so easy for me to just let go and let it all happen. They know what they're doing, and they do it right. Our events were very casual and low key, but I would have absolutely no hesitation to use them again if/when I have a more formal or elaborate event to host.
