This place used to be the best, but in recent years the quality has nosedived. Even when they're not busy, you can't get freshly-cooked chicken; it all seems like it was fried an hour ago and is just tough and soggy once it gets to you. Really disappointing as they used to be amazing.

Really hate to do this as I have been a huge fan and supporter of Wings Over Amherst (from old location to new) for over 20 years. In recent times, every single time I've gone, the chicken is either cold or dried out (heat lamp?). And they barely come with any sauce and if you ask for extra, it's either ignored or they charge you.

They've also become really cheap with celery and carrots. The DC-3 will come with 1-2 pieces of celery or carrots and when you ask for more carrots, they charge you extra (but they don't tell you it's an additional charge).

I'll give it a few more tries to see if they improve, but other than that, it may be the end of the road.

Wings Over Amherst (aka The Hanger) is my go-to place for amazing bone-in wings. They never disappoint! My only negative is the lack of celery being included; c’mon it’s super cheap and I need some crunchy veggies to clear the pallet.

I get take out here all the time, and dine in often. Consistency of the coatings of wing flavor on the wing is not great, but never had to send it back to the kitchen. Sometimes there's barely any on, but other times it's almost too much. ALL Amherst Brewing beers are good. I think I've tried them all, except one or two.

Typically love wings over but this one in Amherst has consistently been mediocre. The flavor is always there but thats just because wings over as a whole has great taste but in amherst the boneless wings are ALWAYS chewy or so overcooked the chicken is so dry you cant even chew it. Its like dehydrated chicken jerky that youll spend an actually few minutes chewing on one piece lol As someone who frequently orders here, its not worth it anymore. The amount of times its bad over being good is sad. Wings over westfield has always had fall apart tender wings but amherst just aint it.

25 minute wait for a table, yet half the dining room is "closed". Then the food took way too long to come out. Waitress was apologetic, but it's tough to wait over an hour from the time you enter the building just to get some boneless tenders and waffle fries that literally take 5 minutes to cook. Maybe turn off Door Dash orders if you can't keep up.

Best wings around, boneless or bone in. Honey bbq, sweet chili, Buffalo, all the classics and more. Huge drink menu, microbrews, regular stuff, local beers, wine, cocktails etc. There’s video games and classic bar games up front, pool and darts in the back. Place used to be a grocery store so it’s spacious, not really cozy, but there’s a long bar, and plenty of booths.

Parking: Crowded during weekends and big game nights

Great place for wings!! I am working in the area and searched Wings ..I have to say they are great ! I highly recommend getting a mix. I got the puddle jumper (12) with a mix of Cajun and Garlic Parmesan. The dry rub are my favorite yet im sure the others are just as goodI'll have to come back to try the remaining dry rubs and other list

I grew up in Amherst and love returning home to watch sports at the Hangar! Always a great time! Marissa and Booth are the best!

THE BEST Wings Over I've ever been to. Same flavors, but definitely the best cook. Sports bar and arcade for the kids too. I will always stop in when I'm in the area!!

Way to loose the business of a place with 200 employed
