Hours is wrong. We came on Sunday 4pm and they were closed and open again at 4:30p so we were disappointed and went to karma instead. Please fix the hours on here.

Best Ramen I’ve had in MA. Better than any spots I’ve been to in Boston! I’ve been here maybe 10 times in the last 3 months I love it so much. Highly recommend.

Well, this is one of those experiences where you realize “oh, every other time I’ve had this food it was done improperly” because wow. I thought I knew tonkotsu ramen, but I didn’t.
I didn’t realize that the collagen and bone broth when boiled over long periods actually creates a creamy white color underneath the fatty delicious umami goodness of the broth. It was just as beautiful to look at and experience as it was to eat. Just blown away by how close to perfection that meal was (and maybe it was perfection, I can’t think of a complaint!).
Not only did the wait staff cater to my request (I don’t like mushrooms) and were attentive and offered to warm up my sake on top of everything, but the food was really transcendent. This might be one of the best meals I’ve had out in years.
Don’t waste your time with other places. If you thought ramen was just good or generally meh, try this place. They will show you how it should be done.

Authenticity is unmatched. Imported beverages that taste amazing. Note: They do close for an hour or so in the afternoon. Otherwise, friendly staff, cool vibe and cool interior design.

The food was excellent.. Can only recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu shio Ramen and the pork bun because that is what I had this time..they were both fantastic!!! The atmosphere is fun... We ordered food on the app from the table.. service was adequate.. Would highly recommend this place..

Insanely good ramen. some of the most delicious broth I have ever had in a bowl of ramen. Everything works so well together the noodles were perfect and the spice level was spot on. I ordered the spicy miso and I can't wait to come back to try some other versions. Not a ton of tables so it could get very busy but you order from a QR code at your table which I love.A++

We live closer to Boston and were up in Andover visiting family when we decided to look for a place to eat—and that’s how we stumbled upon Akita Ramen. What a wonderful surprise! We had no idea this tucked-away gem even existed.
From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the fun, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The space feels lively yet comfortable—exactly the kind of place you want to settle into and enjoy a great meal.
We ordered the Brussels sprouts, takoyaki, and the spicy miso ramen, and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was expertly prepared, full of flavor, and nicely presented. We would absolutely order all of them again without hesitation. The taro boba drink was also delicious and perfectly balanced.
The waitstaff completed the experience: polite, attentive, and genuinely engaging, which made us feel very welcome from start to finish.
We’re so happy we discovered Akita Ramen and will absolutely be making the trip back in the future. A hidden gem that’s well worth seeking out! 🍜✨
