The atmosphere was great. I got the Korean BBQ, my son got the plain cheese. Both pizzas were great. They were cooked great- exactly what you’d expect from a brick oven.

After trying this restaurant twice- I’m not a fan. The pizza dough is so unbelievably plain and flavorless. The toppings on every pizza I’ve tried were fresh and the personal pizzas are a good size but man- their dough is flat out blah (and too hard). Also, the older lady that works there- I have one suggestion for you: don’t act so busy that you fail to make eye contact with your customers and throw down their check on the table as your run by because you are in such a “rush.” The restaurant is small. It’s not THAT hard to have grace as you move around. You create an unsettled atmosphere for your customers!

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were good sized and very solid. The sauce had a very nice taste. I felt the meatballs themselves were very slightly chewy, but overall nicely done. I really webbing the pizza. Great crust, great sauce, excellent pepperoni. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8 2.

This review is NOT about the cost of food. It should be understand that food costs/ labor have a huge impact on how restaurants operate …that is FULLY UNDERSTANDABLE.
Paying a premium for well prepared food is (and should be) expected, provided that food is well prepared AND as ordered!
Had asked for TWO sides of “meatball” … now I did not realize how small the meatballs are, however the ONE of TWO that I had ordered/received was absolutely delicious (four dollars for one, btw!..plus tax).
Very highly recommend the meatballs.
Make sure if you pay for two meatballs that you get two meatballs. Most expensive meatball I have probably ever had in my life, lol. Still tho, absolutely delicious.
Next, The grilled cheese that I ordered was not exactly “grilled.”
The order that was placed may have been close to closing time (absolutely my fault, no question there at all) which is why I tried to choose the most simple thing for the kitchen to prepare. Employees want to go home at the end of the day. We all do. HOWEVER, the first paying customer is just as important as the last paying customer. I was truly unsatisfied with the execution on the grilled cheese sandwich. Easy. Sloppy.
Would have much rather been told something like the following: “sorry, we are not taking any more orders at this time” instead of being disappointed.
Sidewinder truffle fries are delicious. Highly recommend.
Was traveling through and was in the mood for a coal fired pizza. Did a Google search and saw Brooksy’s had a favorable rating. Drove the 20 minutes from our hotel and it was well worth it. The people at Brooksy’s were extremely nice and helpful and the pizza was great! Next I go through Andover, Brooksy’s will be a must-stop.

First things first I love the decor and love that you can see the pizza oven. We sat right by the oven to check it out up close. Staff friendly and attentive. We started off with the mac & cheese bites that were so tasty! The pizza on the top is KOREAN BBQ (kogi bbq sauce, mozzarella blend, braised short rib, sweet drop peppers, scallions, arugula) and the pizza I ordered was THE REAL BROOKSY (garlic oil, mozzarella blend, lemon basil shrimp, roasted tomato, oregano, parsley). Everything was cooked to perfection oh my goodness! It did not disappoint. I was nervous about the lemon basil but that enhanced the flavors! So good! Overall, this place is nice with both indoor & outdoor seating. Highly recommend if you are looking for enjoyable brick oven pizza in downtown Andover! I will be back!

We came from Western NY and needed to meet some family. It looked like a decent place when I checked for a place around Andover. It was perfect for our needs. The food was great and the atmosphere was very cool. If we're ever back in the area we'll definitely stop in again.
