It’s a small brewery in Andover close to the train station. Nothing to complain, it’s a pleasant spot for a beer
Oak & Iron is a local gem. It's a wonderful place with great beer. The food options are limited, but outside food is allowed. This is a family friendly place, and there are often families hanging out playing games. In warmer months there is outdoor seating and a heated tent in the winter. There is also plenty of indoor seating, but it can get crowded at times.
Great beer, lots of tables, fun trivia, beautiful outdoor space, dog friendly (outside), and always a good time :)
Oak and Iron is such an asset to the Andover community. This past weekend, I hosted an event at the brewery. The staff was professional, accommodating, and courteous. The brewery has a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. I would highly recommend the brewery for any occasion. The staff and owners truly understand hospitality, they have a great selection of beer and snacks at a reasonable price. My family has been visiting the brewery for years, it has always exceeded all expectations.
Wish they would do a LAGER. Please! That said, love the people and the vibe. (-'
Fair prices and healthy pours! I highly recommend their IPA's, their other non IPA options are just alright and have gotten mixed reviews from everyone I have shared a drink with here. Overall great atmosphere. Classic smaller brewery with its usually crowd of locals.
Oak & Iron is the absolute gem of this town. Lots of nice mentions about the beer, dog friendly attitude - all true - and their beer selection and rotation is great. Peach ipa? Gone too soon. Staff is kind and like family too.
We're not brewery or beef afficionados (hence only 4 stars), but we had a really nice time at Oak and Iron. The staff are very friendly to newbies like us, and let us sample beer to guide us to the variety we'd like. Their current license only let's Oak and Iron serve their own, on-site brewed beers. But that's no problem, as they offer over a dozen interesting varieties. The crowd inside was surprisingly age-diverse: working age, families with kids, and seniors. Food is available (food truck outside) and allowed in from outside (I think I spotted two kids with Happy Meals). One large, wall-sized TV for airing sports games (MLB ALCS last night) and a pretty fun vibe. I'm looking forward to going back!
Good beer
Great vibe
Family and dog friendly
Love this place
Family-oriented brewery, great beer! Bring your two-legged or 4-legged furry friends, and enjoy a quick beer or an afternoon/evening out! Bring your own food or enjoy their nibbles or local food truck options (check fb for schedules). Beautiful setting next to a creek in the old mill district in Andover. Wonderful owners / operators!

Best, delicious local beers and great owners! Always a good time!
If you’re in the area, congrats, this is now your Local. If you aren’t, this place is worth the trip. Brew Master, Jim, his family and crew are not only great at their c aft but honestly some of the best people you will ever meet. It your are thinking of visiting, you should. Introduce yourself and have a pint, or five and know you have great company.
Lots of good beers, especially if you're not a big IPA fan. Lots of wheat and/or fruity beers. Some snacks - spinach & artichoke dip was very good. Outside riverside patio with a tent was dog friendly with water bowls. Definitely an Andover gem, tucked away.
Good beer, ok food.... Too many children running around... Maybe move them outside with the dogs?
Small local brewery with good beer in a relaxed environment. Parking is limited so you may have to walk a bit if you need to use the overflow parking.
