Ah, Otto—the pizzeria that clearly believes in “less is more,” at least when it comes to cheese. We placed a take-away order for two pizzas, excited for a cozy night at our friend’s place. The first pizza, a Margherita with extra goat cheese, arrived with what can only be described as an “insulting amount” of cheese. As you can clearly see in the photo we posted, it was less a pizza and more a minimalist art project where the goat cheese played an expert game of hide-and-seek.
The second pizza, sporting a different set of add-ons, managed to redeem itself slightly by boasting a better topping density. It was the one redeeming character in an otherwise forgettable show. To be fair, the quality of the pizzas was average at best—nothing exceptional, just routine toppings and flavors that barely stirred any excitement.
Two stars for decent service and the occasional attempt at culinary balance, but Otto, if you’re going to offer take-away, please don’t treat our taste buds like an unsolvable mystery.

Tried Otto for the first time. Ordered a large cheese pizza for myself and two friends. We did not like it at all. It was super greasy, bland, and undercooked crust. Sorry Otto but not a fan!

AVOID! Went to have pizza with my son, and was never even seen by a server. Was seated and completely ignored while two tables next to us were seated and waited on. Used to love this place - service has gone down the drain. Don’t bother going if you want to be served.

Nice place, with good pizza. They made our online order 15 minutes before our selected time, so we had to warm up the pizza one home.

I called at 11:30am on a Friday to order one large pizza to go. I was quoted 30 minutes which I thought to be oddly long for such an early time. I arrived after 20 minutes and proceeded to have to wait an additional 25 minutes (45 total) before my pizza was finally ready. It appeared they had a large catering order of dozens of pizzas that was slowing things down (for other customers too, not just me). I wish someone had just explained on the phone that they were very busy and it might be up to 45 minutes and give me the opportunity to go elsewhere, which I would have appreciated. Instead, I left aggravated and not wanting to return.

Love this place. Always take the kids there when we’re in town and meet up with the parents as well. It’s one of the only restaurants I’ve found where I can have a conversation with others without needing to shout.

I don’t ever like to leave a poor review however this needs to be address for anyone else with a gluten allergy. Do not eat here. I order a Cesar salad with no croutons indicating an allergy. I started eating the salad today and notice croutons in it. I called and spoke with the manager and they said they were aware that salad had croutons in it and served it anyways. I’m just shocked at that level of neglect and careless for food and allergy safety.
Dietary restrictions: Not allergy friendly. Knowingly served gluten when indicated gluten allergy on order.

Our waitress was pleasant. Our greeting was slow when we came in. Initially no one was “ hosting”. Food and portions were excellent. Atmosphere was a pizza joint that happens to have a bar & cocktails but it was pleasant and clean. Definitely will be back.
We had a great time at Otto. We sat outside which was really cool. Food was excellent and drinks were delicious. Our server as great and didn't rush us out. Definitely will be back soon!

The pizza didn't live up to the pictures at all, pretty mediocre for the price as well. Maybe it's because it's a Tuesday night? The pepperoni goat cheese tasted the best, pulled pork pineapple jalapeno wasn't too bad, the street corn pizza was disappointing. I think they forgot half the ingredients on the street corn, there wasn't any green on it. Two cheese garlic sticks didn't have any garlic flavor either.
Also someone needs to learn how to cut a pizza evenly, a few of the slices were about a quarter large and the rest were tiny.
The location and setting seems wonderful at least. I'll probably give them one more shot before going back to Salvatore's.
