Ok. So good drinks and helpful stuff but just the clientele was a bunch of 60+ year olds and the live music was so loud. For sure a place that is lively but it might not be for you.

Palmers did a great job hosting an 18 person rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. The private room was lovely and the food was plated beautifully. The team even went out of their way to create a custom vegan dish for my husband and I. It was an excellent event!

Went here for a wedding banquet. Beautiful, typical New England Tavern. In that sense, five stars. The food was OK, but didn’t do anything to change my life. Maybe a meal ordered à la carte would be better, and this was certainly not a bad experience. Just did not change my life.

BEST prices for a function in the area!! Food options are great. Every dish tasted amazing. Hosted my business dinner here and the staff was very friendly and everything was executed exactly as I requested. Quaint, simple, natural lit room.

Quaint atmosphere with multiple seating options including outside front patio, enclosed porch, tavern with bar stools, and spacious dining room with cushioned benches and fireplace. Upstairs seating also available. Varied luncheon menu with starters, salads, sandwiches/wraps and complete entrees. Perfectly prepared and seasoned food with exvellent presentation. Alcoholic beverages available. Relaxed dining. Gracious server who couldn't be any more pleasant or accommodating! Ample parking behind the building.

This place should have 5 stars. Huge event space upstairs that is cheap for any function. THERE IS LIVE MUSIC THURSDAYS FRIDAYS andd SATURDAYS every week. They have introduced amazing bands recently and the service is incredible and servers actually treat you like a person not just a spender. Everything is big portions and fairly priced.
Vegetarian options: The salads are incredible and they are always changing the menu!
Recommended dishes: Petit Filet Mignon & Grilled Shrimp
Taking in a local band, with friends. Guinness pour was satisfactory. No food at the time for me, but wifey's leftovers were a hit.

I only had the burger but it was good. It took awhile for it to come out, but the taste was acceptable. We ate on the porch and it was a nice feel but a little chilly. The waitress said she could turn the heat on but never did. The server was a bit short and impatient with my group of 5. She did not check on us in an appropriate manner. I would go back but, I will need another server.

My wife and I were visiting the area from Florida and stopped @ Palmers for lunch and met Toni serving at the bar. She was exceptionally attentive and made great recommendations for lunch. The food was great so we came back for dinner! We ate at the bar again and there was great live music and the bartender Russ was excellent. We had a terrific evening. Although not crowded we had a blast with the locals. The food was again exceptional. We had the Limoncello Haddock which was perfect. They also had our favorite Pinot Noir… Meiomi on the list. Could not have been a more wonderful evening before we left for home. Thanks to the staff and when we return this is a place for us!
