My favorite breakfast place as I’m here 2-3 times a week. The waitstaff are great and constantly refilling your coffee cup. My go to are the multi-grain pancakes with blueberries and walnuts but also enjoy the omelettes, home fries, grilled bagels, and oatmeal.
Best breakfast north of Boston EXCEPT — and this is a MAJOR and 100% correctable problem — they recently stopped serving hash browns, for years a signature item on the menu because no one makes them better, on the weekends.
Don’t know if this is connected to new ownership or not, but my family dines at Shawsheen far less frequently due to this one misguided management decision.
