We just had a terrible couple of nights at this hotel. It was clean and the beds comfortable but due to a frat party-like atmosphere (until 2:30 am) in our hallway on night one and a hazmat collection site being set up by the town beginning by 7 am directly across from our room, we only got to sleep 3-4 hours after driving over 12 hours to get there. After the hellish first night, we asked the desk if there was security in the hotel to address the frat house situation if it should reoccur but sadly, they did not. As well, we were told the offenders had checked out but that was not the case. So when the young people arrived back at the hotel again on night 2 at 10:30 pm, and the party started, after a few insistent calls to the desk, the offending party was moved elsewhere, but not before they seemed to be trying to kick in our door before leaving. In hindsight, it was foolish of me to try to have a friendly engagement with the young people to ask them if they could please keep the noise down and to avoid slamming the door so we could sleep, before the worst of it began. We were so stressed after more than an hour of constant noise and calling the desk, and the door kicking incident around midnight, then to try to sleep, neither of us slept well. The bottom line is that this hotel should be an absolute last resort when traveling in the area...it's in an INDUSTRIAL park, immediately adjacent to the Town of Andover Public Works depot and next to a high school where there are lights on the athletic fields and PA announcements from early in the morning (practice?) to late at night (games). We usually stay at the Residence Inn or Springhill Suites (where the breakfast is complimentary, not almost $50 for two people!) in an OFFICE park on the other side of I93 but they were booked so we stayed here but we won't ever do that again!

No complaints about room nor staff. the renovations are definitely up to the rising bar of moderate hotel accommodations. My biggest compliant is being nickle and dimed for everything. Bottled water in room - $5.00 for "purified water" A simple breakfast of a "glass" of yogurt, fruit, and granola plus coffee - $15.00 and no bottomless coffee. I was surprised the few available ice machines were not room card activated for a fee. During our recent travels up and down the eastern seaboard we found the standard was filtered water machines, limitless coffee in lobby, and full buffet style breakfast. If anyone else is a little resistant to paying for these out of principle, there is a Dunkin' in the Mobil station just the other side of Rte 93 on River St. Or look into the many other hotels in the neighborhood.

Hotel was clean, updated, had nice modern lobby with food options. Bed was very comfortable. Liked that room was extra cleaned and even the TV reported had been sanitized and placed in a plastic bag to show it. Also recently stayed at the Homewood Suites next door and this was 100x better.

I'd give the bistro four stars when the chief is working; but, they rate a two when the b-team is in charge of the kitchen.

Food, service & atmosphere to perfection. Perfectly cooked liver & onions and pork chops that melt in your mouth. Yummy. We'll be back!!

This hotel conforms to high standards expected in a Marriott brand hotel. The staff is professional and engaging. Check in is a breeze. Rooms are spacious and clean. The only complaint is that this location is not central to anything. Very limited food options on premises.

Checked in yesterday May 21st, currently in room 340. DO NOT STAY HERE until you confirm everything is working properly. 1st sign when we came in, the toilet water kept “running”, in other words the tank chain never closed & tank never filled w water. You need to close the water tank manually yourself. Which is what we did, we didn’t think anything of it. At the end of the nigh we get back to our room & put ice cream in the fridge and the fridge doesn’t get cold. Tried turning on the TV absolutely no luck, it doesn’t turn on. Called the front desk, he came to look at TV and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. He couldn’t change our room because the was sold out. Management should make sure everything is working before they offer the room to guests. We will NEVER stay here again.

Horrible egg quesadilla. Cold and flavorless french toast. Their menu says they have a children’s menu, but the server said no. It also says it on their board?. The bagel with cream cheese was good.

The rooms here are just ok but they were of standard size, bathrooms were clean and we slept comfortably but nothing special at all. What made a difference to us was that the lobby restaurant was actually pretty good - we had a nice breakfast and one night we got salads quick before bed and they were also tasty, fresh and affordable. The choices in Andover in general are so bad, that I think this may actually be one of the best options available. Frankly, we've been back to Boston several time since then and I've just concluded it's better to stay in the city. But amongst its peers in Andover, this place is probably the way to go.

Very good for breakfast and drinks day and night. Not really a place for dinner. Very limited of dishes for dinner. Service was very good. Always cleaning tables.
